I think this is the first time in a cdrama where a couple is hated so much for having a lot of steamy scenes . They tried to glorify The second couple with so many steamy scenes but failed miserably. Instead had to face the wrath of fans for having shown less scenes of main couple.
People out there saying their steamy scenes were relevant to story are being illogical, u dont hv to show steamy scenes to explain.
And now since general fans hv understood all this second couple fans are being all defensive and stuff.
The channel and production did favour the second couple a lot , because we got same repetitive scenes of second couple.
They should hv just cut off the steamy scenes of them and added
1) more scenes of the main cp and as well as xz.

Main couple was totally sidelined their individual characters story as well as a couple story was not well explored.
We never understood how fcy became a general
We didn't get to see proper fights of xz
A lot of their romantic scenes of main couple were cut and they had less screen time together.
The only two characters that were properly explored, proper story given more than required romantic scenes given were the second couple.
Even in the last 2 episodes the second couple were given more scenes showing a tragic love story when it was not even a love story for them.
We didn't get main couples wedding scene , their pregnancy , their babies. Just a dialogue . Every sbout main couple was rushed. But second couple bith the characters were properly explored and given proper ending.
Even if this was a female centric drama fcy story was also rushed.
Instead of forcing so much of kinky scenes of the 2nd couple , 1 was enough and rest of the time wasted on them could hv been utilised on the main couple.
And obviously general audience are not fools , unlike olden days people can make out things quickly.
Also li hui an character was totally wasted in the show .
Princess and gongsun yi story was also not given any importance.
Even sui yuan qing had a scattered story.
Ning ning went missing in the story.
These characters were also crucial to the story but no they forgot them
The only 2 people that were favoured in this drama is the 2nd couple .
But then yeah even after all this butchering of main couple xz and fcy chemistry still stole the show and is all the fans want to watch .
