One Spring Night, which is in the recommendations and directed by Ahn Pan Seok, has a longterm relationship and…
I have heard a lot about One Spring Night, guess I should have watched it earlier! I have watched Lost, I absolutely loved it, one of my fav kdrama it is. I have seen clips of The Interest of Love, cause I like the FL, I will watch this also. Thank you for your recommendations <3
Exactly.....all the flags were put before there even before it aired actors gave the signs what were they expecting…
IKR? Ahn Eun Jin literally said that this work isn't about a very beautiful love story, but rather about a certain feelings that we don't want anyone to know about in our lives. So we gotta see it for what it is, it is raw, deep and realistic portrayal of us human lives and relationships. like if the character acted according to whatever is morally righteous standards that people have, without any complexity, there would be no story, no drama! The conflict has to be there!! We gotta move beyond that, 'cheating' thingy for real for this show.
I saw this tweet which said that it is sad to see everyone reducing this drama to cheating. and that people are looking for a perfect happy kinda ending in a drama called 'A love other than yours'. and i can't agree more.
Do we have any other drama with like famous mainstream actors with cheating in the script? idk, I think this is my first time watching leads with this plot. It is refreshing to see dramas not depicting unrealistic love expectation but actually talking about the ugly and real side of relationships.
We humans are sick, hella sick and complex, and I love whenever we get any script depicting and stories talking about it in such a manner. It's like seeing or getting to view and experience someone else's feelings and mind and it's interesting no? thinking about why they are doing the way they are, for all the characters. Even when we know, this might not last long, we still go for it, because of whatever sick reasons we have. It is still interesting meeting stories and characters like them. A love other than yours, till now has me seated and I hope it keeps me on my toes till the end, because I am really looking forward to witness how this type of relations ends? or it goes till the finish line? I can't wait to see how the story unfolds!! looking forward to next weeek!!!
it's worth the hype, I personally liked this series very much and if you're a kpop fan this will be something…
I can low-key understand why you dropped the show. I like the duo, maybe that' why I am not dropping it hehe but yeah can understand you. It is good, but yeah..
IMHO, this is Sea Keen's best series. Due to the complexities of the characters. This is not a typical cardboard…
You explained so well! I have started watching and I am enjoying it so far. I feel I know very little till now ( on epi 3 ) about Cheewa and his backstory and stuff, so I am looking forward to knowing their characters more in depth.
Tell me why did I start a drama which is not complete yet? and is so damn good, interesting, great chemistry and engaging?? why did i start bro?? should have waited till it finished. So many BLs are being aired and I was already not watching few because yeah i wanted to finish it all in one go, i don't do that with straight dramas but BLs are so hard to wait for !!! But i felt the fomo from twitter and started watching it argh!
This is for anyone looking for their sign to know whether they should start this drama, please do. please watch! It's my first time watching this pair and I am gonna explore their other drama now ( it was already in my list ) the chem is greattttt!!
Talking about the characters of this drama, I like the dynamic so much, like yk both have that problematic thingy and they will heal through each other and man love when no one is stepping down, like that both are strong headed in their own way. If there are more dramas with these types of tropes then I would love to explore that :0
SO INVESTED I AM.
oh also, who is the dean guy why tf is he so good looking?
4 episodes down and I Just can't for the next weekend. The plot itself seemed to good to me from the start, a drama which actually talks about a established relationship loosing the spark after years of dating. I expected this drama to have and show the depth of the realistic relationship , what I didn't expect was the mature audience ( or that's what I presumed about k-drama watcher ) to be this surface level and be stuck in the prejudice or false idea of relationships being all garden and flower land. I don't know whether the people on Twitter or here have actually been in a long term relationship or even read or heard about it but man please grow up, the drama is portraying the reality of relationship that grows old, where both of you are so much part of each other to the point that love goes but the habit and attachment remains. and here leads are clearly so much in love with each other that they are literally fighting internally to feel the same spark, because by time it turns into comfort. Relationships have so many layers, so many, and this some other person coming in your life and you getting swayed is literally on the tip of it, human emotions are complex. There are dramas who literally spoils people into believing unrealistic stuff like the ML being in love with the same girl for 15 years even without any contact, bro that doesn't happen in real life. In reality a lot happens between two people, emotions, complications. it isn't some black and white thing, the gray area will keep surprising you. Watch the story with open mind, understand the characters, their actions, where they are coming from, see what exactly is happening, no one is even mentally cheating now bro, they are so much in love with each other, it hurts. Not everything is directly about morals and principles man, try reading and exploring complex character writing based shows, maybe then some people will understand the ground root this drama is talking about.
Gotta drop after epi 5, I have been trying to cope up with their intimate kisses that it would get better later on, but it doesn't seem to be the case, it is so forced and after watching so many good dramas and actors playing and acting so real, I just can't see these two college dudes kissing scenes looking so damn uncomfortable like broo, commoon who kisses like that in 2026. please. Was really looking forward to this rivals turned lovers plot though :)
Oh I didn't know that all the episodes will get aired on the same day. People, is it worth spending my 12 hours on? like is it ' You need to watch it' type?
I have seen clips of The Interest of Love, cause I like the FL, I will watch this also. Thank you for your recommendations <3
