That ending where EunHo suddenly wakes up from a dream really confused a lot of us. Some people started thinking, “WAIT… WAS EVERYTHING JUST A DREAM?!” 😭

But NO! 😂

Many scenes from the manhwa were rewritten for the drama. In the manhwa, EunHo and DoHyun didn’t break up the way they did in the series—their story ultimately ends happily. ❤️

Now, let’s go back to that dream scene.

If you’re thinking that everything we watched was just a dream, actually… NO. 🥹

According to the author, EunHo and DoHyun really break up and eventually reconcile in the drama. The part where we thought EunHo suddenly woke up and everything might have been a dream is actually the real dream.

The author explained that the final classroom scene is a dream where present-day EunHo gets to tell younger DoHyun everything he wasn't able to say to him when they were still in school. 🥺❤️‍🩹

So basically:

EunHo and DoHyun's story really happened.
Their breakup really happened.
Their reconciliation really happened. ❤️

The classroom scene is simply EunHo's dream—a chance for his present self to go back to that moment and say the words he couldn't say back then.

And honestly, that makes the ending even more emotional. 😭

It wasn't about erasing everything that happened.

It was about EunHo finally understanding his feelings, looking back at the younger DoHyun, and saying everything that had been left unsaid. 🥹❤️

So no, we did NOT watch the whole series just to find out it was all a dream! 😭😂

I wonder if I and some of the people here leaving reviews watched the same series. I don't understand the low grading, it was quite an amazing show from a lot of points of view. I loved it and watched it several times.

Finally found a comment saying the same thing as my thoughts. I actually paused the episode and came here. It seemed such a plain NC scene, like it was supposed to be something special, but I didn't feel anything. I'm disappointed because I imagined it would be steamy...
