Woogi was also the one sending the "wine" box filled with us dollars and Jinman's ashes. Now that the Cambodian guy knows where she lives, in a zillion dollar french mansion, he'll torture them both, kill them, and take what's left of their money and gold. It's not a set-up for a 2nd season...the guy represents their death. Ain't no happy ending. Which makes the series even better. Sorry to burst some bubbles.
Can someone explain why Heeju wound up with the Chairman after being injured in the jewelry store chaos? The doctor who helps her is connected with the Chairman's organisation and since Jinman was the only person with her when she passed out....then it was Jinman who took her there. But that's insane. He would have taken her anywhere else for treatment. This is a major fault in the drama. Now she was held by the Chairman and Jinman needed to rescue her. Please tell me you all understand how stupid this was? I loved the series but I can't help but feel this was a massive mistake.
