A beautiful drama. Zyz is unforgettable. I still hear his ost and cry. All the music in this drama is wonderful and made me fall in love with the story and its characters all over again. 🧡🧡

If you start it now and already like Zyz and Zyc, you’ll be obsessed to continue it no matter how it ends. Those two are fantastic, the way their bromance develops is perfect. The best bromance I’ve ever seen.

It was good at the beginning, but once he returned to his official position, the story became heavily unbalanced. The fl started solving cases in place of the ml, which made the drama’s logic feel weak. And after her oath, it seemed as though her grandmother’s grudge became her own, and the ml the one to bear the consequences of it. As she continues to test him and manipulate him for all the drama, with no signs of love from her side. A change for the worse for her since the start.

Meanwhile, the ml who is a genius in many arts, is reduced to being the only one working for the relationship, as if that were his only role. Such a great character, ruthless, clever, charming, and strong, barely show his potential.

Then in the last arc I would have liked to see more of his interactions with his brother, I loved the moment when he called him so, and the scenes where they talked about their mother, with the bittersweet memory of the cake. And the fight with his father was spectacular,
But his arc was only 5 episodes long, clearly uneven compared to the 30 eps dedicated to the rong family, in which the narration was not even slightly, fairly shared. They really did the ml dirty.

This does sound pretty bad. He deserve better.

Of course she will. Let’s just hope her way isn’t mean or too dragged out, but clever instead.

Faster than light 😂

When Hy disappeared from the screen in Tus, Glory had my full attention. And I keep jumping back and forth between that drama and this. lol I love both!

Who knows how the fl will react after learning the truth? I hope it’s in a mature and smart way, like he did, they’re kind of even now. She didn’t tell him the truth about who he is and tried to use him, and he wanted to use her but ended up sincerely helping her. They both did wrong and right for each other, so let’s hope for a positive reaction from her side. I really liked how he handled his emotions after her betrayal (on her word),he showed pain, understood the situation, and made clever moves that worked for both of them.

Lovely Hongye. To think that, after all his pain, he’s still such a kind, gentle soul.
And HMH looks amazing, a shining, ethereal, handsome demon.

I love balanced dynamics too, which is why watching Litc hurt me all over, lol
For now, it’s true that the drama is focusing more on the fl, but the ml is definitely on the same level when it comes to wit and cleverness. We’ll have to see how the story unfolds and whether, in the next episodes, the ml will get a fair, similar amount of screen time to tell his side of the story. But for now, I can say it’s a satisfying watch, with both leads showing equal sharpness and strategic thinking, maybe even a little more on the ml side.

Oh, the part where he dies becouse she asked him to, and believing that everything was fake, it was just so heartbreaking!
And when after century he found out that she killed herself to follow him... the way he silently cries, with those tender, sweet eyes, filled with pain and that sad smile... it’s just so tragic! 😭
And fantastic Neo 😭

They usually have plan for different seasons from the start of production, and as far as I know, this was always intended to be a standalone project. And even though this drama is deeply loved by many, in mainland it received very little visibility so it didn’t achieve all the success it deserved.
Plus, it's been a year since it aired, and the farther we go, the less hope there is. 😭
Not to mention, the producer mistreated the ml quite a lot. I doubt he would want to go through such an experience again, his fans definitely would not want that lol
And there is only one great demon Zyz!!!😍

You don't know how much I wish for it, but I'm almost certain there won't be one. 😭

The trailer for this drama was dubbed (not his voice), it was Neo’s fans who made YZ (the producer) realize that Neo’s original voice was the best choice. So, he reached out to him (kind of last minute).
And even with a packed schedule, Neo managed to find time to work on it, especially considering that his character had a lot of lines and the dubbing process would take a while. He is so hardworking! 🥰
