👏👏August really acted that scene so well, it's the highlight for me this ep and I was not expecting Dech to pull out a dagger🤯
But why are the mc's scene so scarce in this ep🥲 hopefully they get more on ep9

So P’khun was mentioned again for the second time, “P’khun performed the ritual”? But Great is like telling that to Dech which confuses me.

And again waiting for a whole week to get alot of 2nd cp? I’m not gonna complain if it’s just the right amount but bro it’s like a lot🫠 the poster for ep8 gave this away so I kind of saw it coming honestly, But pls can we get more DechGaew moments. What’s the plan for the remaining 2 eps🥹

I see some poeple being disappointed with that kiss, yes it’s 2026 but the story is not set on 2026. But honestly I was more shocked with the servants having sex because that was really out of the blue, and I hoped that Pin and Yam’s relationship progress would be shown in a more romantic way. Back with Dech and Great, I’m assuming that Dech has no experience even with women, and Great before being transported back in time knows that he will fall inlove with someone (the tarot reader said so) but him realizing who he will fall for is I think shown on the end of ep4. In ep7 Great know who he likes, and he knows that Dech likes him but he isn’t rushing things with him, on the confrontation on the waterfalls, I’m not mad with what they gave us( we have different opinions) I honestly couldn’t careless about the NC because the tension is strong enough for me. But I love Augustleng’s chemistry so I’ll look forward to that scene🤭

Ancient Thai people in Ayutthaya period and in Sukhothai period don’t kiss on the lips. It wasn’t exist among Thai people back then. They only sniff kiss each other on the cheek. No evidence about kiss on the lips in any of the poem, novel, or painting back then. Kissing on the lips was foreign concept. Even though there were western foreigners migrated to Ayutthaya back then but they didn’t kiss in public so ancient Thai people didn’t learn this kissing on the lips concept yet.

The kiss on the lips appeared in Rattanakosin period in some novel and poem but not with tongue, the description of kissing in poems in this era was just a lips touch lips, no tongue involved.

The French kiss concept with tongue only appeared in Thailand in translation of foreign novels around King rama 6 era which was 100 years ago.

Dech’s dialogues when he was speaking with P’Si and Great while watching the moon were so heart warming, the way he is realizing his love and the constrains it has🥹

Ok I went there again and ye the subtitle said “get down” but I translated that and it should be "get down" in Thai is ลง (long) or ลงมา (long maa) if we consider that Great is using modern thai. Right now I’m just connecting those😂cause I really want it to be Great and not Gaew

If you go watch the 1st ep, when Falcon was shooting them Great said “P’khun” instead of P’muen, if I heard that right. So I think the one who woke up is Great, I just know how the timeline works since they are also showing him being in the past. What’s confusing here is that CUU posted on X w/ caption “guess if it’s Gaew or Great”😭 so if ever there might be a chance that it’s Gaew or cuu is just playing😂.
