Because of this drama,I'm starting some of Jing boran dramas. going through his filmography and I already picked Two. Always home and A league for Nobleman.

Starting this one soon because of Jing boran(Lan jue) but omggg,I'm Lovinggg Zhang ping. His character is too naive,not the type of SML character I would usually Love,but his innocence and Gullible beauty is charming to me plus Lan jue is so sexy. I can tell I'll Love this but I have too many cdramas to catch up with,I'm trying my best😭 Recently,I've been Thinking Song weilong really has some good script choices,I tend to like his dramas these days idk why.

Weird how this is really that one drama that made me uncomfortable to watch. I hate intruder men and more so,I hate naive women even more. But anything has a high score on MDL nowadays when the good dramas are so low in scores. it's too embarrassing.

I highly agree. I don't see any chemistry between them at all,and people loving the drama felt like they were romanticising Rape fantasies,I really don't understand why these type of dramas are famous. I see nothing special here.

Well I still maintain I love him more in historical,like I easily connect with his characters there,it's ok to accept actors have where they shine better,no need to gaslight me.

you are right it's indeed a lighthearted drama hence the name. It's not the gritty type and the novel also shows that btw.

He's definitely good at acting,just that his acting is better in Historical dramas. in modern dramas however,it feels a bit complacent.
