I love yun weishan so much . what should I do 😭. This character gives me the feeling that I want to protect and free her at any cost . The phoenix should roam freely not be locked in a cage not even a golden one .

This is the peak of Wuxia . The world this Wuxia drama create is just fit my imagination . I hope there will be another Wuxia that hit the same .

Gong zhiyu is currently my favorite ml in drama at least before my favorite novel get adapted . He feels so human to me . He learns and grows through out the series. He’s been through the phases where he doubted himself and stuck but the circumstances push him to get better and his willing to get better . I love how he’s so nice despite most of his family members are so mean to him . He gives love like it’s the most natural thing in the world not just love , he does the actions too , he takes care provides and protects 😭, not blindly protecting the fl ( he genuinely sees that she’s not wrong even she’s from wufeng just like how the fl sees that gong is not cruel as wufeng makes her believe) . He makes sure that none of his gong family members could harm her. ( I believe if she’s really hurt his family members he won’t let her go easily ) unlike sml who acts righteous and protects the family but when he faces his own feelings he couldn’t help but choose to spare his wife who just about to wibe out his entire clan . That point really shows that Gong zhiyu is definitely a better leader and deserves his position. I rarely see people mentioning Gong huanyu but he’s a very interesting character and the whole gong crisis is because of him . He literally a character that push ml to grow . He plays a very important part to the ml character . Without his scheme ml will never experience everything he has . Basically this drama , gong zhiyu is the main lead . Every character has to support his grow and his storyline . Even yun weishan is just a supporting character to him 😭but she’s my favorite character in this drama and she deserves her own sequel. Her background storyline basically never reveals .

It depends on how you view the drama because it’s not written base on the main leads perspective at all . Their decisions are all make sense. Ml is naturally not an unreasonable person and only listen to his family rules at all . He against it . For him fl is not the one he should kill . She harms no one ever since she enters gong residence. All the information she gives wufeng are what she needs to do to survive . On the other hand , Fl is fighting her fate . Her role as an assassin from Wufeng , she has to harm gong but it’s not her will . She has already longed for freedom . When she gets a chance she chooses herself not choose to obey Wufeng anymore . Maybe freedom context is not everyone cup of tea or it’s just not everyone priority at all because we all have free will nowadays but for those who is like fl might be emotionally harm by being locked for so long and her dream that seem impossible is only freedom .

I love the ending . This type of story can’t end with a proper ending .

There is no similar one . maybe this director other projects but nothing hit the same

This is definitely author decision so he could create open ending . logically , ml must protect the fl by sending so many guards to prevent her but he’s not . The author really did a great job for making us desperate . There are many possible ending . Either fl got executed or she uses infinity heat to kill wufeng or she becomes double agent for wufeng since they held her sister as hostage or she is someone who is a high rank in wufeng from the start .

I love Mingyi outfits and hairstyle so bad 🌸💞
