it’s a good kdrama

I really love this drama and it’s so captivating. The female lead undercover as a man and meet the silly emperor. I don’t remember more details but it’s a good storyline and it’s so emotional . This is one of the few historical kdrama you should watch because it’s barely any of this historical kdrama in this period of time . It has korea and china in this . I highly recommend watching this if you want to cry . The plot twist also great and unexpected ( at my first watch , at that time I’m not experienced with palace drama plot twist yet )

Don’t watch it if you’re sensitive to 18+ stuff

This is such an insanely good movie! The acting, storyline, plot twists, and the way the historical setting was executed were all incredible. I learned so many new things from watching it, and I really want to give a huge shout-out to all the actors and actresses who went all out to bring their characters to life. Their performances were truly impressive.

It’s not necessarily a must-watch movie, but honestly, if you skip it, you’re missing out on a really great film.

⚠️ Content warning: There are some disturbing scenes, so I wouldn’t recommend it to anyone under 18.

Expect more from a popular kdrama …

So many plot holes. At least five episodes could have been cut because they feel repetitive and do little to move the storyline forward. I expected more from such a popular K-drama. While the concept may not feel particularly original today, it was fresh and intriguing at the time of its release. The premise had so much potential, but the execution was ultimately unsatisfying.

The beginning was especially interesting because the protagonist was a side character who wanted to change her fate. She was tired of being trapped in a life where she loved someone who hurt her while also having to deal with her illness. For once, she wanted to take control of her own story rather than blindly follow a script that condemned her to suffering.

However, somewhere along the way, her original goal gets lost. Instead of focusing on changing her fate and reclaiming her autonomy, she ends up falling for another guy and devoting herself to their relationship. Her entire struggle shifts from rewriting her own story to fighting for a romance.

And that’s what makes the execution so disappointing. The original premise was about a character realizing that she didn’t have to accept the role assigned to her. Yet, in the end, her story becomes centered around another love interest. What started as a story about taking control of your own life gradually turns into a story about fighting for love. Romance itself isn’t the problem; it’s the way it overshadows the very goal that made the protagonist interesting in the first place.

This movie is seriously incredible. Maybe it’s because I’ve never come across this kind of concept in K-drama before, but it genuinely caught me off guard in the best way possible. I didn’t even watch the trailer before heading to the cinema. I just saw the cast and decided to go for it, and honestly, I’m so glad I did.

This movie took me on an emotional roller coaster. I was scared, laughed out loud, and cried throughout the whole thing. I love how it kept me feeling so many different emotions without knowing what to expect next. Going in completely blind made the experience even better, and I think that’s part of why I enjoyed it so much.

Sometimes, the best movie experiences are the ones you walk into with zero expectations and come out of absolutely blown away. This was definitely one of them. What a ride!

super power !

This drama is such a fun and creative watch! It may not be the most original concept in K-drama land, but it still manages to be entertaining and enjoyable. The comedy keeps things lighthearted, and I appreciate that it doesn’t lean too heavily into emotional moments.

What I find most interesting is the contrast between the characters’ superpowers and their very human weaknesses. They may possess extraordinary abilities, but what they truly lack is something much simpler: love, affection, and genuine human connection. Beneath all those powers, they’re still people who need to be loved and cared for.

Overall, it’s a charming, funny, and easy-to-watch drama that balances fantasy and comedy with a sweet little reminder that even the most extraordinary people can feel powerless without love.

If you want to cry watch it

I stumbled upon videos of audiences visiting the tree associated with this movie, which sparked my curiosity and eventually led me to watch it, knowing that the story is connected to real historical events.

I already knew how it would end, so I thought it might ruin the viewing experience for me. But surprisingly, it didn’t. The incredible acting and brilliant screenwriting made the journey just as compelling, even when I knew where it was heading. The performances felt so convincing, and the storytelling kept me emotionally invested throughout the film.

I genuinely enjoyed almost everything about this movie, from its emotional depth to the way it brought history to life. My only complaint would be the rebel plot, which didn’t quite work for me compared to the rest of the story.

Overall, knowing the ending beforehand didn’t make the movie any less powerful. If anything, it made me appreciate the acting, writing, and emotional weight even more. A truly compelling historical drama that proves a story can still leave a lasting impression, even when you already know how it ends.

Amazing drama !

Three Kingdoms (2010) is a historical Chinese drama that is absolutely worth watching. Although the storyline is lengthy and the drama has many episodes, the outstanding acting and compelling dialogue kept me watching nonstop.

What I admire most is the screenwriters’ and directors’ ability to bring historical events to life through such an intricate and captivating storyline. The characters’ strategies, political conflicts, and interactions make the drama fascinating to follow. I especially appreciate how intelligence, ambition, and political wisdom play important roles in shaping the course of the story.

Another reason I enjoy this drama is that I get to learn about real historical events while watching it. Before starting the drama, I wasn’t very familiar with this period of Chinese history, so everything felt like a new discovery. It was exciting to encounter historical figures and events for the first time and gradually develop a better understanding of this important period.

Overall, Three Kingdoms (2010) is a rewarding historical drama that combines excellent acting, powerful dialogue, and an elaborate storyline. Despite its length, it never feels like a waste of time because there is always something interesting to learn or discover. For anyone who enjoys historical dramas, political strategies, and stories about ambitious figures shaping history, I believe this drama is well worth watching.

Don’t miss out this amazing drama

My Lovely Liar is an amazing Korean drama with a fresh and intriguing plot. What makes it particularly interesting is that both the male and female leads have their own storylines and personal problems to solve, yet their struggles are closely connected to each other.

The female lead has a supernatural ability that allows her to hear when someone is lying, while the male lead believes that he killed his ex-girlfriend. When he tells the female lead that he did not kill her, she hears his words as a lie. This creates an interesting conflict because, although he claims that he did not commit the murder, he believes in his own guilt. As a result, the female lead begins to question her supernatural ability and the truth behind the person standing in front of her.

I find this concept particularly fascinating because it challenges the usual understanding of lies and truth. It makes me wonder whether a person’s words can be considered a lie when they conflict with what that person believes to be true. I also enjoy how the drama connects the two leads’ personal struggles, allowing their individual storylines to influence and complement each other.

Overall, My Lovely Liar is a fun and engaging drama with a great plot. I really enjoy how it combines romance, mystery, and supernatural elements in such an intriguing way. Its unique concept and the connection between the two main characters make it a compelling drama that keeps me curious about what will happen next.

I love the fantasy world

Tale of the Nine Tailed is a fascinating and compelling Korean fantasy drama that draws viewers into a world of supernatural beings and mysterious events.

The drama follows the male lead, a nine-tailed fox who has spent many years searching for his first love across different places and lifetimes. As the story unfolds, viewers are introduced to a fascinating fantasy world filled with supernatural creatures, mysteries, and unexpected encounters.

My favorite part of the drama is the female lead’s intelligence and the way the story introduces fantasy elements through her perspective. Rather than immediately accepting everything she encounters, she takes the time to understand and figure out the unfamiliar things happening around her. I really enjoy this concept because it makes her character feel curious, independent, and believable. She is also brave enough to defend herself, even when facing supernatural beings, which makes her character even more interesting.

Overall, I think Tale of the Nine Tailed is a fun and engaging drama to watch because it allows me to step into a completely new world and experience the magic of fantasy. I especially enjoy how the drama combines supernatural elements with intelligent and courageous characters, making the story both entertaining and captivating.

Physical strong female lead

I love the cast, the acting, and the storyline. This drama is incredibly entertaining from beginning to end! The screenwriter really knows how to highlight the female lead’s charm and strengths, giving her so many memorable moments throughout the story.

This is exactly the kind of drama I’m looking for! I love how the female lead is stronger and more capable than the male lead, especially when it comes to handling dangerous situations. She can save herself in most circumstances instead of constantly relying on someone else to rescue her.

It’s so refreshing to watch a female lead who is capable, confident, and able to take control of her own situation. She truly shines in this drama, and I enjoyed every moment of it!

A love that needed more than love

Overall, I enjoyed this drama, although I felt that it was a bit slow and dragged at some points. Again, I loved the costumes, the sets, and the cast.
I think the storyline in Part 2 is much deeper than in Part 1. In Part 2, we get to see the leads’ relationship and characters develop more, while the main plot, especially Ling Bu Yi’s investigation, gradually unfolds and gets resolved.
I also found the characters more complex in this part, especially Ling Bu Yi and Shao Shang. Their relationship isn’t just about romance; their personal goals, beliefs, and the political conflicts around them all affect their relationship. That made Part 2 more interesting for me, even though some parts felt slow.
What I love most about their relationship is that they don’t simply misunderstand each other. It’s that they don’t understand each other enough.

For them, loving each other also means learning to truly understand each other. When Shao Shang feels that Ling Bu Yi doesn’t understand her, she reaches a point where she no longer wants to continue the relationship. For her, love alone isn’t enough if the person she loves doesn’t understand who she is and what she needs.

But eventually, they come to understand each other better. That’s what makes their relationship meaningful to me. They don’t just need to love each other; they need to learn how to understand each other.

The Politics Are More Interesting Than the Romance

Overall, I love the casting, cinematography, sets, costumes, and the way the drama is directed. You can definitely tell that this is a high-budget production.
For Part 1, the story mainly focuses on the FL’s relationship with her mother, along with some of the ML’s secret investigations. Even the romance seems to be used more to explore the FL’s relationship with her mother. The development between the ML and FL is a bit lacking, though, and there aren’t many scenes showing their relationship.
Honestly, my expectations based on the drama’s title are pretty much gone. The way I’ve seen people review this drama on social media also doesn’t really align with the drama itself. A lot of people describe it as a love story, especially focusing on the general’s unconditional love, but the political aspect is barely mentioned at all. I only discovered how politically focused this drama actually is after watching it myself.
The politics in this drama are much deeper than I expected. For me, the most interesting part isn’t really the ML and FL’s storyline, but the messy political situation in the newly established kingdom and how the emperor manages to keep everything under control.

interesting plot

It’s such a good short drama to watch, with a really interesting plot and twist after twist. Honestly, all the twists are giving me a headache because there are just so many! 😂
The ML and FL both have their own personalities, principles, and stances. They don’t just exist to be “the ML for the FL” and “the FL for the ML.” They both feel like true leads in their own right, and I really appreciate that.
Somehow, the main characters are written better than in some long dramas where the story feels like it was written around the billing order of the actors.
The visuals and filming are also impressive. Even with a tight budget, it has the look and feel of a much longer drama. Everything is just right and doesn’t feel unnecessarily overdone.
And the acting? On point.

amazing CGI

Till the End of the Moon is truly one of the greatest xianxia C-dramas of all time. The storyline is captivating, beautifully layered, and filled with emotions that keep you hooked from beginning to end. Bai Lu and Luo Yunxi make such an incredible pair, with amazing chemistry and visuals that are simply a feast for the eyes.

The CGI is top-tier, with stunning visual effects and breathtaking fantasy scenes that bring the story to life. The costumes are equally magnificent, featuring intricate designs and beautiful details that make every scene visually captivating.

From the compelling storyline and high-quality CGI to the gorgeous costumes and the incredible chemistry between the leads, everything about this drama is exceptional. Till the End of the Moon truly sets the bar high for xianxia dramas

Love Game in Eastern Fantasy is such an amazing and immersive fantasy C-drama! I absolutely love the novel transmigration concept, where the female lead enters the world of a fictional novel and has to navigate its unpredictable twists and turns. The fantasy world is beautifully brought to life, and the combination of adventure, romance, humor, and unexpected plot twists makes the story even more captivating.
