no one should decide to watch or skip any drama seeing the rating of MDL now. lol this superb drama has gotten low rating but many below mediocre dramas get 8.5+ rating here.

The best republican drama i have finished to watch. Audiences should keep in mind as the story is based on Republic era so they will definitely give priority on patriotism over love & family thats why they have shown a heroic ending of ML. Cheng lei was impeccable from 1st to last episodes. I am officially fan of his acting. Xu ruohan glowed in acting gradually in last 3-4 episodes she gave brilliant performance. Execution of the story was superb. I did not find any boring episode. Cinematography was spectacular. & last the chemistry between leads was fierce. 🔥 these all points are enough for me to rewatch TLOA.

I think amnesia worked as catalyst to bring them together where pj actually fallen in love with cxu. Later despite getting back memory feeling of love for him never changed from her side.

Yes another one is her tieing praying pendant on tree last time when she did for cxu he came back safely from war.

39 is actually end episode to me where cxu, pj & their little fish spent a good time together.

Watch till 39 no episode. They separated then united multiple times in 39 episode there is sweet family moments among cxu, pj & their kid but in last episode in war field cxu faced big injury, passed out so whether he died or not was alive anyhow its not clear
