I also didn't like the age difference but she quickly loses that 15 year old spoiled princess act just keep watching.Trust me it gets better you only watched a couple of ep by ep 13 you will see her character
development.

who played Xiao Xingchen from the untamed would make a perfect Xie Lian you can even see edits of them side by side he's perfect for the role as for who should play Hua Cheng I really don't know.
