The synopsis we all read for this drama wasn't quite right...Also, it got really frustrating waiting to learn what exactly pulled them apart. I wouldn't be surprised if viewers dropped this series because they got tired of waiting to find out just what did go wrong with,Achi and Ji when it is completely obvious that they are and always have been crazy for one another. If they can wait it out though, the viewers will be somewhat satisfied. My only real beef with this drama is that I did not feel they developed Gumbie and Ki's relationship enough for all the screen time they were given🤷🏿♀️ Overall, this is a good show to binge when you have free time...but it probably won't leave a lasting impression🤷🏿♀️
The Sign is good...I would even say it deserves its rating...but yeah...I get what you are saying...I just caught…
Thank you! Look. I am gonna say it because no one else will. The ending was trash. After finding out Chart had been working for the Inspector, why not give us a little more back story.? And what about Khem & Poom? The viewers deserved to see their reunion after Khem recovered. Don't get me started on how "Slow Motion" decided to just give up ( off screen , mind you) and let Tharn just return back to Phaya. Huh? After ALL that hell he caused? Come on now. Make it make sense. I still liked it...but I have to say, I wish they would have taken some plays from the MoD playbook...though not without its on set of flaws, Manner of Death happened to tell a good murder mystery where to ML happened to be in love. The mystery did not take a backseat in order to tell a love story. In The Sign the reverse is true. All the interesting elements of this series took a back seat for a cheesy happy ending that didn't really feel earned🤷🏿♀️
I'm glad someone said it. It is a fluffy fairytale...but hey...the story is about love at first sight with a script that is more slice of life than anything. Besides, fairytales are the best guilty pleasures😂😂😂
I have a new found appreciation for Ai Long Nhai now that I have seen Tonhon Chontalee. Let's start by saying that both shows could have better, however ALN stands out a little more. First of all, MeenPing's chemistry is so natural that I could believe Ai and Nhai were truly into each other. The script doesn't make me believe it, the 2 actors do. When actors can make you believe without a well thought out script then you know that the chemistry is there. What is also interesting is that they made Nhai a pansexual character much like Tonhon in the original story (Ai and Ni were openly gay in the OG story). ALN subtely infuses subtle nuances regarding Nhai's developing feelings for Ai that TC didn't even bother to attempt with Tonhon in the OG story. One day Ton was a clueless homophobe and one day he was madly in love with Chon. Dassit🤷🏿♀️ Where ALN really fails tho is in attempts to use the parent story as an excuse not to develop supporting characters in this one. All on all tho ALN is funnier and a low key fluff piece. Definitely bingeable...if only once.
TC isn't that bad. It's not that good either. The drama is pretty sprinkled with GMMTV faves so diehard fans will sure to be entertained...but this story, which had crazy potential fell flat relatively quick. Plot holes and one dimensional cardboard characters galore. Oh and you are sure to get second male lead syndrome in this one. I guarantee it. Seriously, how does the 2ML get more realistic character development than the main couple? That is mind boggling to me.

I said it with hyperbole at the time but now that i think on it, they kind of are. Kao can handle Pete (and I am not advocating for anyone to jump in head first with people like this. It's just in this case it is what it is). Besides that, it has been 3 years and Pete has proven to be very patient with Kao and his need to remain closeted to his friends and family. He genuinely loves Kao beyond reason. Kao, in turn, inspires Pete to be better. I dont know if it is Non being a pest or the realization that their college years are up but Pete is looking to the future and he wants to be someone that Kao can depend on. I honestly didn't like them much as a couple at the very start of this drama but they reeled me in by episode 7...and then the bomb dropped😩😩😩😂😂😂

Red carpets are a fun ride tho😩😂 Don't get it twisted. Pete x Kao's relationship doesn't look good on paper...but somehow they are perfect for each other. Kao anchors Pete.
I'm curious as to whether the MDL rating of 8.6 is actually how it calculates out to be. Yeah, yeah, it's a cute…
The Sign is good...I would even say it deserves its rating...but yeah...I get what you are saying...I just caught Manner of Death from a few years back...and I couldn't quite understand why it didn't get a higher rating.
