I honestly don't mind that its not going to be a BL movie and I don't understand the comments below of people getting all salty that they thought it would be. I'm looking forward good acting and action with an implied something between the mains because clearly by the trailer alone there something between them more than friendship. Remember irl you can start as friends and became something more later.

Loved this series up to the last two episodes….and the last one really pissed me off!!!
Rant time: Who cares if you can accept that your murderous stepmom is alive?? I would NEVER let her near me again let alone my kid!! Like WTH?? She can literally fudge off! And you friggin saved her life?? Ohh man I wish this show had a different ending.

Imagine if every show had romance though?? that would be boring as hell. I think there's a time and place for Romance and honestly I sometimes feel adding Romance ruins a show.....

The movie is not American so it doesn't spell it out for us. I love that it tells just enough that we know what's going on (well most of us anyway).
With what was going on theres no way the legal system would have left the kid in Mark 2s care. The purchase of drugs that ultimately let to the grams death arguably purchased with intent to kill grandma. .....He's not blood related.......He was given custody of the kid while grandma was out of sorts....Unfortunately it looks hella suspicious. None of it would have come to much had the uncle not stirred it up for greed. All this I got, and its only a fraction of all the little things the movie shows us. Your left to think about it and discuss with people who have seen things you missed and it builds an even bigger picture (It was pointed out to me that his short hair at the end prob meant he did time for the drugs)
The smart storytelling reminds me of In Between Seasons. Its not for everyone but I think its brill. Also I'm a sucker for beautiful cinematography.
Also I don't think its advertised as a courtroom drama? 😉

Just binged this series today and Loved every minute of it! How has this only got a 7.9? Its one of the best BL out there IMO. The characters were well played and had depth and every episode had me in stiches! Pi was such a great character and felt very relatable. Hit the nail on the head with his character. His insecurities defined him and it was heartwarming to see Mork help battle those wounds! I wish we all had a Mork IRL.....I think this show has hidden depth for those who understand what Pi's trauma is like.

I just read through this ridiculously long thread XD. I thought Id add in my support since the haters seem to shout the loudest. It always shocks me at how some people attack a BL series based on its content when on straight series its apparently fine?? It disappoints me that people nowadays get so emotional of fiction, FICTION. As if people will watch a tv show and do what the characters do?? If that's the case then they need to get help, not people like us who enjoy watching a show with flawed characters. People who show support for these types of darker themes get attacked and its ridiculous. Like we have committed a crime for actually liking a work of fiction. Also News flash SJWs, gay people are not saints. They are human. Seems SJWs just want a bunch of Shōjo esk BL with bubbles and flowers floating on screen....
I get there are people with triggers and whatnot but I'm sorry but don't watch the show.
I just hope they continue to make darker content in spite of immature whiners..

I went a little extreme Tbh so I apologize for blowing up at you :) I'm a fan of all sorts of BLs and I'm happy that everyone can enjoy these types of shows. That they are even getting made is truly the best!
