I agree with your point of the fact that fanservice shouldn't be over the top, but I think fanservice is important to promote the ship and the show and all that. It's also important to remember that at the end of the day, they're actors, it's their job. 98% of them aren't even lgbtq+ and that's okay, as long as they're respectful and supportive of the community (coming from a gay [pan] person)

they dont explicitly cover teeteepors story as such - just some glimpses in the last few eps
