Okay. Right from the synopsis, it has a similar plot as "Go Back Couple" and trying to convey the same meaning to the viewers, but the way it was written couldn't even be compared to "Go Back Couple". Yes the both the male and female lead has chemistry, but the story is being poorly told.
Even though he went back in time to get together with his first love and live a happier life which is already being selfish; he then has the audacity to try and get back together with his wife from his previous time. That's what the preview to episode 7 looked like to me. The way each episode is being played out makes it seem like he is kinda "ignoring" or "being non-affectionate" with his current wife. Like she is just a filler in most scenes besides where she is getting tempted to have an affair. It makes it seem like she is a really really bad person.
Overall, story is very predictable and not really any good moments that viewers can actually love. Maybe story line will change in later episodes, but i highly doubt it.
damn did they just play the whole of love scenario song LOL. i was like no way are they gonna play it all, but then they did. That pub had good taste in music though :P.
Damn this drama was pretty good for a oldie, Chemistry was on point! The ending was pretty satisfying even though it isn't all that happy. Kimura killing it as always, never really disappointed by him.
Honestly, the drama was okayish. If you got nothing better to watch, this is a nice one to kill time. Some scenes are very weird and makes you go "Really?". Ex. Gong Ou stages an affair then then Xiao Nian rushes in to realize it was a impostor and after crying a bit, Gong Ou gives her some jewelry and proposes. Like wtf kinda messed up surprise is that lol. As a guy who witnessed that, i am flabbergasted by how this seemed like a good idea to do.
Drama was alright. No tear jerking moments that made me cry. Only disappointing thing for me was that Yuan Zhan didn't end up with anyone. I feel like him and Duo Xia had chemistry during the scenes. Glad Zhan ended up being Emperor because he seemed more fit for it than Ling imo.
On episode 34 now:The episodes can seem less enjoyable now compared to the first half (1-26). Luo Xi, ma boi,…
yeah, i already finished the drama since yesterday. i kinda skimmed through the last 2 episodes cause it already seemed like the ending was decided when Xia Mo decided to shut her feelings down during the coma talk. Ou Chen basically ruined a good relationship cause he couldn't get what he wanted so he used underhanded tactics to get the girl. I knew Xia Mo had a horrible judge of character when she decided to go back to Ou Chen after all he did.

Ahhh that explains Luo Xi status a bit. Although i feel like they should have made Luo Xi character into a singer rather an actor. It seems more fitting since in the beginning he showed off his musical talent. Or was he supposed to be both? Drama didn't really show his career life besides the movie he acted in.
This drama story plot is kinda messy, it's not solid enough imo. The only shining point of this drama was Bi Ryum and Mu Ra chemistry and romance throughout the 16 episodes. Would only rewatch just for there scenes only.

Glad to see that i aint the only one not buying all the Ou Chen bs. Xia Mo must have been blind to not be able to see all the crap he pulled when she was in a relationship with Luo Xi. The man was out to basically ruin Luo Xi career until Xia Mo told him to stop. What kind of decent person does things like that.
I am also disappointed by how quickly Xia Mo jumps ships when it comes to the relationship. When the going gets tough, you don't dip on the person who loved you. Feel like she was just leaning towards the man with the money that can help her.
One thing i don't understand is, how come Luo Xi popularity didn't seem that big and that he wasn't as rich. In the beginning when he came back abroad, i thought he was like some big shot celebrity that came back to rule the entertainment industry. Seems like his influence is very minimal.
From a guys perspective( Currently on Episode 26 and never watched the original version):Honestly hoping Xia Mo…
On episode 34 now:
The episodes can seem less enjoyable now compared to the first half (1-26). Luo Xi, ma boi, i feel bad for you but you can't just go and kill yourself. The odd thing was he woke up way too fast imo, took only like 1-2 episodes. Even after 34 episodes, i still don't really like Ou Chen. Only 2 episodes left and i am doubting Xia Mo will choose the Lou Xi now. Lou Xi also seems to get little screen time now for the past 2-4 episodes, everything seems to focus on Ou Chen's side now. Can't say it was a happy ending in my book. I guess ill just finish it just for the completion.
Overall the drama was pretty okay (7.5/10). Although there is like tons of romantic moments, i noticed theres like only 1-2 kisses from the main leads from the whole 59 episodes. Chemistry was somewhat there for the leads, but fail to meet the pass cause of the horrible kiss attempts. Even though the ending was happy, something was still missing.
Kinda hated the ending a bit, Ye Yin couldn't fully commit loving Ya Long til the end. Ya Long was honestly one of the best second leads ive seen in a cdrama. It felt like he was actually the main lead throughout the episodes while Shifu/Master was the second lead. I honestly can't see how people can sympathize with Shifu at all. His love was so obsessive and forced that it was honestly disgusting to watch. The punishment that was given to him doesn't even seem like a punishment. How you gonna gift your best friend a wife then try to take it back, can't understand.
My synopsis of the drama:
Se Yin decides to gift Ya Long a wife made from his rib out of friendship. But when she came back looking all beautiful, he decides to take back his gift. He waged war, plotted evil schemes and guilt trips the girl to believing he actually "healthily" loves her. In the end no ends up happy cause Se Yin was a selfish ass dude until the end.
After watching this drama I feel like the synopsis doesn't match with the drama I just watched. I feel like there's…
The synopsis was poorly written so it didnt really give a good representation of the actually drama. The poster kinda threw me off which made me think it was a brother & sister twins instead of sister twins.
I do like that they didnt force Xia Er onto Xu Kong Lin to make them a couple towards the end. Luckily both 1st and 2nd leads got a happy ending.
From a guys perspective( Currently on Episode 26 and never watched the original version):
Honestly hoping Xia Mo will end up with Lou Xi at the end, but second leads rarely get the happy ending. I dont really like Ou Chen that much, the way his character was written is such a douche. I feel like due to his sickness and him being kind to her will make Xia Mo waver. Lou Xi insecurity of losing Xia Mo might make him lose her though. Damn.
Overall the drama was pretty good. The comedic scenes were a joy to watch. Only thing that really bothered me is that he basically neglected all 3 of his concubines, in terms of affection, after his marriage. Eventually the lack of affection causes one of them to have evil intent towards Ye Zhao. Honestly i was low key feeling bad for them throughout the whole drama series.
So I have watched the first 2 episodes, and I'm not too impressed so far. The actions of the main female lead…
The police is targeting the Jin Yuan (main male lead) because he is the chairman of Guangchen Auctions. They received info that Aqua Expanse (Cai Bing Kun, a drug lord, was one of the shareholders of the firm) made an investment into Guangchen Auctions before its bankruptcy. Thus leads the police to believe that Jin Yuan is somehow linked to the drug case.
The end would have been good if they didn't suddenly decide to revive the 2nd male lead back from the dead. What was the point? To please the fans? I was like wtf........when he suddenly showed up.
Overall, the drama was so-so. Kinda disappointed that the AnAn chosed ZhenYing over ZeXuan though. For her to not choose the ZeXuan when he was there for her for 10 years makes me feel for the guy. During the 10 years the other guy didn't seem to even try finding her, but just did his own thing. Maybe, its me that find the 10 year span way too unrealistic that the female lead didn't develop any love/affection for the 2nd lead. Side characters were pretty good with the comedic approach. Not a bad drama, so give it a try if you got some spare time.
the duo detective part of the plot might be repetitive or similar to other detective jdrama's, I find this one to be quite entertaining especially the interactions between Maya and Daika-sama.
Overall the drama was okay. Although i kinda hated the fact that Yu Feng affection leaned towards Ting Yu rather…
Ohhh that made sense now, i always thought they were the same person because of the name she went by at the beginning of the drama. Thanks for the reply though. Nice to chat with others about dramas haha.
