the member of parliament better go to hell! how dare he land his dirty hand on kamin's face!!! it's very clear champ's father only cared for his own public image since the first moment his son needed to sit inside interrogation room because of puifai's death. with champ's drugs scandal finally gave him a bad press during the time he never imagined, he vented his frustration on kamin who just did his duty as a good policeman in their society. this power trip really irks me so much!
yes, i'm curious about his past since the first episode and I'm glad that the series will give us some background…

i'd say they also got that sexual afterglow right! lol. but seriously, the way we can feel it's very natural must be because joongdunk themselves are always comfortable with each other. not distant in personal space. they enjoyed filming this series so the emotions were delivered well to us.
jadekamin's after-sex moments are sooo delightful. joongdunk always do justice to their characters, truly a match made in heaven. i feel giddy every week!
anything happened in kamin's past, i think it gave an impact on his work also personal life. his reaction to their dare card by worrying for jade immediately may come from that experience. not to mention their conversation inside his car, where kamin perhaps had his own thought on the on-going case(s).
the killer must be having an access to watch police activities or even a chance to read police reports. when kamin succeeded in getting tonkla's testimony about car accident from latest interrogation, masked killer suddenly appeared at the garage and had time to help with the situation over there. interestingly, it's the same night jadekamin and team were busy on the wild hunt case. also no need to wait longer, time was the next target too after cherreen disclosed time's secret to kamin and kamin maybe wrote down on his notes regarding a white car at the garage that he's suspicious of, which later we learn it's champ's car borrowed by time.
this episode we got jadekamin visiting champ's apartment again and finally the clinic. it's another important disclosure as well now it's confirmed everything started with puifai and cherreen's plan to prank their friends. really a joke that went wrong, that causing someone's death and more death from avengers.
i guess champ just wanted sex. he didn't love puifai and he didn't love cherreen either. he snitched on the poor girl after she's crying during their phone call while telling him the truth because she trusted him.
the way jade needed to say he suspected jay, only reminds me also back then when they started to investigate the avengers case, he assured kamin he would press charges by his own if jay was involved. although as a brother perhaps it's kinda harsh but i respect him. failing the special investigation unit training test truly made jade not allow his guard down again because of personal feeling.

ohoo kamin didn't let that pass while he's very ready to fire his gun anytime. kamin versus seon jae and minions. jade versus hong wei. i'll never move on from their action scenes. joongdunk as jadekamin our hottest duo!
avengers kids don't fear death, at least to a certain degree. they're more scared their dirty secrets to be exposed and they didn't really cooperate whenever they're being interrogated by jadekamin. all of us can see they don't want to have any business with police, therefore the police can't force a witness/victim protection when the civilians refuse to, especially if they don't come clean nor come out clean. detention isn't an option, looking at their family backgrounds. custody isn't possible either, considering at the same time no strong enough evidence so far to hold them accountable by the law. it's just tonkla from avengers that ever told jadekamin via jay he received truth or dare letter. after they met, kamin immediately ordered police on duty to check on him every two hours but turned out it's bell been murdered and bell never reported anything about her own letter to police previously. tonkla also only handed his truth card in, by the way, since his dare part contained his past car accident. jadekamin initially didn't know tonkla's dare card had names written which became other potential targets by masked killer. cherreen herself, however, always expressed she's afraid of police. everyone as a suspect in puifai's death got some police following them around in investigation and she didn't like it. champ seems surrounded by bodyguards from his politician father so cherreen must be prefer to spend a lot of times with him than under police's care. and speaking of champ, let alone him to be gathered inside a room with other kids for hours until they confess, we already have police commander didn't approve it when jadekamin kept the member of parliament's son staying longer within their investigation. jay has jadekamin, meanwhile time has his policeman father too. they can directly request an assistance the moment their group need it but they didn't. it's even jade who insisted for jay didn't go to campus that day, joined him to police station instead. i believe there will be a situation in future where avengers not able to avoid the police anymore and i still can understand current reasoning we haven't reached the point yet. from beginning it's the avengers' own choice to act normal as if nothing life-threatening's going around, a price they pay to secure their dirty secrets to be forever unrevealed.

the police usually need to confirm their evidences first, including testimony, then they can use their authority to arrest any suspect. and yes because of champ's father too, i'm sure they have to let tonkla free before they really conclude the case also with champ's side. but masked killer intervened the process. tonkla died as soon as kamin knew the truth from latest interrogation. if it's not based on a pure intention to prevent champ getting tangled up further in tonkla's case, maybe it's masked killer's strategy to keep the member of parliament's son available for truth or dare letter target list.

kamin summoned tonkla (and cherreen) to interrogation room, succeeded in making him to confess about he's hiding the body with champ's help, but tonkla got murdered by masked killer at night. meanwhile for champ, he has that kind of protection from his father's political power and even the police commander seems didn't approve it when jadekamin kept him staying under their investigation. the preview shows we'll see jadekamin trying their best again in next episode to get champ, while i guess it's most likely their priority is truth or dare case if they can enter his place and do another questioning within a limited space they have.
