I found the ending for the two female leads confusing! Can someone tell me their understanding of what happened to Hae Won after she was stabbed and of Hee Joo after she heard the bell by the river?
I am somewhat ambivalent about this drama. I realized as I was reading your comment what the issue is for me and…
Thanks for your reply.
I agree that there are scenes that were not well written and there hasn’t been enough screen time for Joo Hee’s character.
Think what I like about this drama is that the focus is on the three female’s friendship and the family bond they have with each other and their families for example when Joo Hee’s mother was in the hospital… they took turns to watch over her 🛌 … when Mi Jo got her hair pulled by the wife that thought she was having an affair with her husband… Mi Jo’s sister came to the rescue 💃 … when Joo Hee missed the time to pick up her mother’s birthday cake because she collapsed… Mi Jo asked Chan Young if she was desperate and all three grabbed a brick and broke the bakery window 🎂🪟… I enjoyed these scenes and others that brings sheer joy while watching these never seen scenes in other dramas 🤗
I’m looking forward in watching what the writers and producers have in store for the last two episodes next week 👀🤔
He liked her long before that, but he had his reservations because of the age gap and the fact that he has 3 kids…
IMO, Dan Dan’s character has gone through so many hurdles and painful heart breaking times starting with YG’s engagement to evil Sa Ra and ending with his involvement with his sister’s friend that was closer to his age and status… that I was glad that Dan Dan came to her senses and realize it’s been a one side love.
This is the first time in a drama that I don’t look forward for the FL to end up with the ML. IMHO, there’s no chemistry and certainly YS hasn’t shown love and/or loyalty to Dan Dan. Dan Dan deserves to be with a loving, caring, and loyal man, which YS is not!
In addition, dislike the wedding dress that Dan Dan is made to ware… it makes her look older than what she is and who cares if it’s YS’s mother’s wedding dress… why not give Dan Dan a glamorous wedding dress that brings out her youth and beauty⁉️
But it’s okay for Sa Ra to have a glamorous dress and venue for her engagement… very disappointed on the differentiation treatment of Dan Dan vs Sa Ra characters 🤪
Don’t get why there’s so many hateful comments ⁉️🤔.
IMO, the storyline follows three totally different females who are turning forty and their friendship since they were eighteen years old … while dealing with the grief of one of them passing, the other with the reality of dealing with a criminal biological mother, and the other dealing with being unemployed. All these are day to day realistically topics and the entire cast are doing a great job portraying their individual roles 🤗
Although I typically do not like to watch sad and/or depressing dramas with topics such as the death of Chan Young… I look forward seeing what the writers and producers come up for her character as well as for Mi Jo and Jo Hee characters.
I was pleasantly surprised that Chan Young went to cemetery to make arrangements so that her parents and friends don’t have to worry about it.
Also liked the fact that Mi Jo got the courage to talk to her adopted mom, her boyfriend, girlfriends, and Jo Hee’s mom about her biological mother’s financial motive to reach out to her. I’m hoping that Mi Jo breaks all tides to her evil biological mother in ep 11.
In addition, I liked that Jo Hee was braver than Mi Jo to talk about her fear and sadness of what their friendship or lack of after Chan Young’s passing. The fact that Jo Hee pointed out to Mi Jo that she’s closer to Chan Young makes her stronger and wiser than Mi Jo and Chan Young in my opinion.
Finally, just want to say that I’m enjoying the intrigue and development of the three main female characters.
I won't ever be friends with someone who sleeps with my other half whilst he was still married. Forgive yes, and…
I think that’s SPY has only allowed her ex-husband’s mistress to talk to her because of her daughter Ji-a… SPY knows herself too well and she will never go back to her cheating ex-husband and she knows that her ex-husband fell in love with his mistress and that’s a given that will not change… therefore, for the sake of her daughter to continue a somewhat healthy and serene relationship with her cheating dad and be able to move on … SPY is keeping her enemies close, which includes her cheating ex-husband, the mistress, and the ex-mother-in-law🤔⁉️
Epi 9 -10 will be aired this week. Do you guys still think A-Mi will end up with pan sa-hyun just like at season…
Being that the writers and producers added ghosts in this drama… anything is possible such as having the mistress A Mi dumping the cheater doctor for the cheater lawyer!
Why kill off Songwon if only to make her come back as a ghost???????? ENOUGH WITH THE GHOST STORYLINES.I'm kinda…
I agree with you regarding the dead mistress ghost and everything you said about HR’s cheating ex-husband too. In addition agree what you said about HR … however if the writers and producers end up having HR’s character be the step-mom for his cheating ex-husband in anyway… such as what you said or she ends up remarried to her ex-husband because the dead mistress ghost takes over her body, it will be madness and so unfair for HR regardless of her dislike selfish character … she deserves a character growth similar to Ji-a after her mom SPY spoke to her🤔🤪
The one I’m bewildered about is how Dong Ma is affecting and temping SPY’s behavior and choices🤦♀️💃⁉️
As for Shi Eun, I’m content with Seo Ban not wasting any time in his proposal and them getting ready to marry. They are both in their fifties, matured, and they both know what they want for the rest of their lives and from each other. My only complaint is her idiot cheating ex-husband and future father-in-law interfering and ruining their wedding 💒
i donu what is wrong with her she is ruining everything !
Or perhaps the dead mistress ghost wants to somehow make amends with HR for her part in breaking up her marriage and making sure her son has a step mom to care for him⁉️
Loved those 2 scenes. Also the one where Shi Eun told her ex she was getting married, in such a cool refined manner.…
Agreed. I hope we get more worthwhile scenes and an explanation for adding the senseless ghosts ⁉️
Think we’ll all catch the madness if the writers and producers have the dead mistress ghost possess HR and that cheater lawyer falls in love and gets married to his beloved dead mistress Song Won in HR’s body 👻🤪👰♀️🤵♂️
Let’s not forget that A Mi broke up a marriage… how does that make her character better than Hae Ryung?
If I were a man, I would not be able to live with either one!
My point is regarding HR is that her character from the beginning has been immature, selfish and materialistic… after she was cheated on her character added additional defensive selfish traits to protect herself from totally falling apart being that she found herself alone and betrayed by those she thought would not abandon her… such as her ex-in-laws. When they accepted and cared for the pregnant much older mistress, it sent HR further to the only surviving mechanism… revenge… which is why she’s been pursuing Ban Seo to financially show off to her cheating ex-husband and his parents that betrayed her🤔
Besides the fact that HR is one of the wives that were cheated on and this crazy drama is showing the different ways each of the wives have reacted and how they protected themselves from the betrayal they’ve suffered from their spouse’s infidelity.
Think that HR being the youngest of the wives, she’s the only wife that took the low road of revenge… such as she beat up her ex-husband and his mistress, made sure her ex-in-laws financially compensated her, and now she’s trying to show off to them by getting a richer man regardless if she has any emotional feelings for. Think we all agree, that’s not the right way for her to move on and acquire self worth and be happy… hopefully the writers and producers will have her character mature and show a caring and loyal woman that can happy without seeking revenge and find her self worth by more positive self relying traits 🤔
Will Ji-a end up breaking tides with her dad or will she continue her relationship with her dad as before her finding out the reason of her parents divorce… that is the question ⁉️
Hopefully the writers do not let us down regarding how YS takes it
I think that Ji-a might follow suit with her mom in not being able to forgive her dad and YS is definitely going to be very unhappy.
But who knows… after all YS has had his mistress living in what was the family home and has not done anything to show any type of sorrow and/or remorse for his infidelity . YS character has been written to be accepting with his new found lifestyle with A Mi and can only wish him a good life along with Ji-a💔⁉️
I hope SPY ends up breaking all type of contact with A Mi for Ji-a’s benefit🤔
What is going on with Hye Ryung? Why would anyone say someone deserves to die for their sins? And then getting…
It’s unfortunate that the writers and producers have made HR’s character to be disliked due to being selfish, materialistic, and jealous of Shi Eun and sure she will also be jealous of SPY when she finds out they Dong Ma wants to be married to her⁉️
Making HR’s character this way diminishes the infidelity she’s suffered and the betrayal of her ex-in-laws. Let’s not forget that HR attempted to give her cheating ex-husband a child because her in-laws asked her to forgive their cheating son and only agreed to the divorce when she was told that she may not be able to get pregnant.
IMHO, the three wives suffered a lot when they found out that their husband had a mistress.
There is a scene of HR crying endlessly in the shower trying to deal with her cheating husband’s infidelity, which was heartbreaking. I hope in the end the writers and producers give HR’s character growth and give her justice and happiness. Also, HR’s cheating ex-husband is the only one that has not shown any type of sorrow or regret for his infidelity, which makes me overlook at HR’s immature selfish flaws 💔
