I totally felt the same as you in regards to the ending😳. The death of Wen Ji and Lu Ji was so sad and Xiao Heng was for sure out numbered and how could he survive ⁉️ The last few seconds of Xiao Heng riding towards XFF, can easily be interpreted as an illusion 🤔. The ending for the main leads was very sad all around based on the last few minutes in my opinion 😭

By the way… I’ve decided not to continue watching this drama because there’s was a comment in YouTube that the ending is the typical C-Drama, where the ex-husband and his mistress end up happy ever after … no consequences for what he did to his wife and daughter, who doesn’t even recognize him as her dad because he was to busy taken care of his helpless manipulator mistress 🧐
