yeh its related to the whole jj chaos, its not jj which is locked but rather the tlers are locking their tls, i have given you the explanation in another post. The tlers are now thinking of ways around to give access to their tls, a lot of them have started with the password style access, where there are passwords for each chapter.

Yeah so jj will have a new intl site where translators living in CN/TW/hk can translate the danmei novels but then all the rights will belong to jj. jj claims that all the translations will belong to them, i guess you have to pay to access those translations so all the tlers are password protecting or locking their tls to prevent unauthorized copying of their tls.
