I too don't watch dramas with sad endings, trust me I have missed a lot of good historical cdramas because of that BUT I watched this while waiting for new episodes for Forever and Ever and I was glad that I did.... I hope the sad endings do not deter people from watching this...
do you need to watch one and only before watching this?
For me personally it is not necessary BUT it helps cause you might wonder why their romance is going at warp speed... What I did was watch the first 10 episodes of FaE then while waiting for new episodes I binge watched OaO and I'm glad I did..
Okay tbh I really had no plans in watching One and Only because like so many I hate sad endings BUT I was very excited to watch Forever and Ever , that being said, I could not wait until Monday to catch more of the couple so I decided to watch OaO to tide me over and I was glad that I did...it had me bawling and it comforted me that in their next lifetime that it would have a better ending for the couple.
Will probably add more feedback about the drama later on but I love the portrayal by Allen Ren and Bai Lu to their roles here in FaE. I haven't read the novel so I have no expectations.. I also love the subtle nods to OaO...I wish they would have brought some of the actors in OaO to do at least cameos in FaE...but overall I am loving it.
I suggest you to watch One and Only first before starting this. Because it'll not be the same experience anymore…
Thank god!! Cause in the closing credits it looked like Shi Yi got sick...Can you tell me what that was about and where can we read the book..Thanks in advance..
I have seen all of your recommendations...Just a comment is that A Liitle Thing Called First Love was based on a Thai movie Crazy Thing Called Love starring Mario and Baifern so if the drama deviated from the movie, as a fan of the movie I WOULD HAVE BEEN DISAPPOINTED ( just my opinion though, no offense meant ),there are a lot of youth dramas, Our Secret, Put Your Head on my Shoulder, Don't Think of Interrupting my Studies, etc. They're worth checking.
Can anyone tell me where can I watch ep 23 and 24 with English subs?
It's not yet available but only for MGTV VIP but if you can't wait, like me..i did it the hard way... I downloaded the subs from Subscene then pasted it on a raw episode from Dramacool...
