I don't have an issue with Esther Yu as a person...what i don't like are the roles she plays and how she acts in it...TBH her biggest hit which was Love Between Fairy and Devil I only stuck around because I liked Dylan Wang's portrayal of his role and there was a lot of fast forwarding on that drama....But for this role Esther Yu can clearly move on from those cutesy roles .... I think I also have a right to voice an opinion if I don't like the way an actress portrays her character without it being a knock on Esther Yu as a person... IMO her acting style (except for this drama, so far) has not been my cup of tea.... And that's just me and my opinion... Thanks and cheers...
Normally I'm not an Esther Yu fan but so far her acting here is not as annoying (so far in the episodes I've seen)... I'm surprised that China allowed this drama to air when there's a mandate that dramas should be around 45 mins long including the intro and outro... So far I am loving this drama!!! I like that it is dark and not the typical bright settings (I know I'm referring to Xianxia dramas when clearly this was tagged as wuxia)... I'm looking forward to the next episodes...
I'm so close to dropping this... The FL mom is so horrible... Why does she keep getting the horrible mom roles... In Hidden Love she was a good mom but in Love Like the Galaxy and this drama she's such a horrible character...
