I am glad also that the FL is not the type to revenge with the ML in a childish type of way like most FL such as throwing tantrums, sneaking, plotting since he is really harsh with her at the start
If this is ML's POV the drama would be a thriller because of the cannibalism with his family yikes

I love the 2nd couple. They giving calm bf and hyper gf vibes and also I think they have more kissing scene than the main leads
For a short drama, the plot is good for me since it discussed serious topic like depression.
I didnt get cringed with the romance of main leads like other youth dramas. They are natural in acting and does not exaggerate. The courting stage is refreshing. Ming Xi deserves a Jiang Bohan for all her hardships she went through plus You Jing Chu.
Kudos to her for being strong and selfless
And I notice that everyone is saying that Qin Si Yao is an exgirlfriend??? From what I understand she is just a childhood friend that is obsessive with the ML

This is just my opinion too. I think he really has high IQ but its just that he comprehends Xiao Qiao's action differently since he still does not see her as lover but comrade hahaha.
He is wired differently when he does not involve his feelings
First is the puzzle box only he can open it within weis, he is talented in math at a young age and also Gao Heng (the scholar next ep) base on the novel, Wei Shao states that he can be at his level it just that he is not interested in studying so he didnt pursue it at a young age. With military tactics we can see that he is good with it. I think he trusts her wife so much now tha's why he listens and follows her suggestions now. Technically his IQ can be measured.
He has low EQ since he has difficulty in expressing emotions, Struggles with empathy, misunderstands social cues.

- has high IQ but low EQ hahahaha
- I just also just want to clap to him for being fair as her husband and as a Wei

- unique FL
- It is first time that Ive watch an FL pursuing the ML first
- in manhua terminologies, she is a black belly hahaha
*Da Qiao
- kind does not complain even with their situation
- can be a separate side story if given a chance since they are not both accepted in Qiaos and Weis
*Bi Zhi
- whole green planet hahaha (we just need one Bi Zhi for every girl on earth hahaha)
- hope we can have a little background story with him
*Wei Liang - too cute I just want to put him in my pocket same with Wei Qu, Wei Xiao, Wei Duo
*Xiaotao - loyal (first time I cried for a side character it was during the rain outside the gate) same with Chunniang and Xiao Zao
*Grandma Xu - fave character always full of wisdom and love with the Wei
*Madam Zhu - I can somewhat understand her attitude since she is a parent and a mother who lost her family which makes it easy for her to be manipulated due to unstable mentality.
- Realistically speaking if I were in her shoes I also dont think I can be in good terms with the Qiaos
*Sun E huang
- I pity her due to the fact that because she is just a 'woman' she grew up scheming just to survive. But it doesn't mean it is justifiable
- also her mark is too funny for being obviously fake

In the novel he went to yujun but then the drama doesnt really follows the flow of the novel so its still a guess
It would be interesting to see the bond of the Qiao siblings considering also that in the novel they are twin brother and sister
