I watched Meet Yourself & felt in love with a small town in China. The town probably just design for the drama but I thought it would be nice to live somewhere in China with that environment 😆 I visited Beijing and Zhuhai last April, I love the foods. I can't speak or read Chinese, it was a challenge. I said I will try to learn Chinese from watching drama but not happening 😅😂

The Best Thing has similar vibe. While I was watching this & have to wait for new episodes, I re-watch The Best Thing 😅

ak ok! I didn't remember the conversation between Xiguang & Rong. I understand the real estate bubble to unemployment problem they're facing. I noticed that last episode Xiguang went to Saudi but dated 2028, potential business with the Saudi 😆 I enjoy the romance of this drama & ignore the rest 😅

There are Tim Horton in China, I was very surprised when I saw it it. April 2025, I went to Hong Kong & a local friend drove me to Zhuhai, China. I saw Tim Horton & yup! I went in bought a cup of coffee but they don't have donuts. Their menu isn't the same like Tim Horton in Canada.

The public hospital thing was like so crowded & he is rich why he has to stay in the same room with many people 😆

ah ok! I don't think too much about it since it's a drama. maybe the writer wants to praise China. I skipped when they talk too much about business or brain research.

I am not in either of the field but I saw a documentary on brain research. Actually there is a company in Europe can help people who no longer can walk & a machine stimulus the brain, it helps the person can walk a short distance. I don't remember all the technical term 😆 I don't understand the photovoltic thing but my simple understanding is solar power which is real 😅 I think the drama want to show China is working on cutting edge technology. Stuff like this in the drama, I don't get it & occasionally I skipped 😅

I love it! I have been watching so many drama since covid, best ending for a modern drama. Starting from college, career, marriage, kid....perfect family in a drama setting 😆

I think it comes down to director or just typical drama, lack of attention to details.

They didn't dress him up or make up make him look a bit older. Funny part, the robot made a comment he had kid very late 🤣

😆 people are willing to spend money. I didn't mind spending during covid since no where to go 😅 After life is back to normal, I cut back spending on subscription so no Wetv for me....waiting just like you 😅
