People were not looking for Rom Com. The Rom Com is what most of us felt was wrong with the show. It was shoehorned in last minute and the actors didn’t have any chemistry. They should have cut the Rom Com out and just focused on the story. Not every show is perfect.

OST kinda bothered me. Because most of the songs were used in Park Seo Joons previous show “Hwarang”. I don’t know if the creators meant to do it because Park Seo Joon was in the show or they just didn’t know. It bugged the hell out of me.

She has a natural likability like Reese Witherspoon or Amy Adams. Even in Legends of the Blue Sea where she had a thankless role being the typical best friend who had unrequited feelings for the main character that always gets turned down pathetically. The character was badly written but she still managed to catch peoples eye and stole quite a few scenes.

The fact she blew up after that role is proof of that. Definitely my favorite Korean actresses working day.

I'm not really telling you thats my admiration for her peeking through lol. Just responding to your comment that you wished to see her in other roles that were not Cold/Rich. With the roles I mentioned being great examples of it.

I like Hwarang despite me not liking Go Ara in it lol. I thought the other actors were all very good and the story was interesting enough. Plus it introduced me to Seo Ye Ji and showed how much of a badass she is.

The only other show I saw Go Ara in was Your All Surrounded and I wasn’t too impressed with her there either lol. Maybe its all a matter of personal taste but I honestly never saw much in her.

Seo Ye Ji has acted in many roles that aren’t just cold/rich. Go watch Save Me, Moorim School, Lawless Lawyer, and Last. All four roles are vastly different and show off her versatility as an actress.

Seo Ye Ji is an amazing actress but the movie was pretty average. The plot is basically a carbon copy of The Ring movies. Seo Ye Ji deserves far better Movies that will put her talents to good use.

Yes she should have been the lead for this show not Go Ara.

Actually I wished Ah Ro would have just been a Supporting Character and the main Female character should have been the Princess played by Seo Ye Ji. The Princess is already everything you wanted Ah Ro to be. A very strong character and not a wet blanket that Ah Ro was. Also Seo Ye Ji had way better chemistry with Park Seo Joon than Go Ara did. No offense to Go Ara she's a pretty girl. But thats all she brought to the show being "Pretty" and nothing else.

Also I know people are going to think that I'm just saying this because Seo Ye Ji is super popular right now after her recent success. But I watched this show before Its Okay Not to Be Okay and felt the same way back then. Seo Ye Ji outshined Go Ara.

Absolutely agree. In fact the movie is pretty realistic. I grew up in similar places where the movie takes place and have seen women treated exactly like the main character by the people in their lives. The movie definitely hit a powerful note with me.

LOL the movies title didn't tell you right a way. I don't think a Family Movie would have the word Devil in it.

I don't get the low rating at all. This movie is amazing. With one of the strongest performances by an Actress I've seen in a long time. Seo Young-hee was terrific in this. I think people are misjudging this movie as simply a Horror movie. Its way more than that. Its tragic, realistic, satirical, and powerful. Yes the last half of the movie definitely has elements of a slasher movie. But other than that part. You have a strong performances and some strong writing. An excellent movie.

First noticed her in 5 Enough. My has she come a long way.

Shin Hye Sun definitely deserves to be up there. She started with some thankless supporting roles like in Legends of the Blue Sea. But blew up in such a big way after with Stranger, My Golden Life, Thirty But Seventeen, Hymn of Death etc. I can keep going but she has way more coming. Only Seo Ye Ji has a career tragjectory like her. Absolutely fell in love with her in her supporting role in 5 Enough. Had a feeling she would become a big star. She ended up proving me right.
