The story line is shitty and confusing. Not sure about Korea but in many countries what the FL is doing might be…
Why illegal? In Japan you can hire someone to be a boyfriend/girlfriend, there's literally a whole agency for that. I don't see how her job in this drama is any different
It dragged so much, was cute at first. They made every single guy in their friend group gay and paired them up lmao, lost interest and didn't feel invested in all the pairings. Was awkward and unnatural, skipped most scenes.
At this rate I'll just end up buying and reading the novel that will officially be released in english in november…
I'm glad that they've started actively translating and publishing official versions of BL Chinese novels, its like the market has started to realize their worth and the huge fan base
It was torture to finish but glad I finally got it over with.
And lmao what's up with the ending? Pachara acts nice like he cares about Matira until she gave him back his heart then when Matira took out the knife to kill her self right in front of Pachara, Prao, and everyone else who acted like they care about her, no one even tried to stop her.
Prao already had a compatible heart transplant available just a few hours prior (I know its diff from Matira's heart donation bc the other heart transplant was available back in the city she's from), but then Matira needed to kill herself to donate her heart to Prao. Lmao like why, that was unnecessary, she was gonna get a heart either way.
And to make it worse, no one even cried or held a funeral for Matira.
Also Pachara is supposed to become a normal human after he gets his heart back and die a natural death, then what's up with how he randomly teleported himself with Prao to a different location at the final scene? LMAO makes no sense.
The second couple was SO uninteresting, skipped all their parts. They just used them for more screen time to drag the plot.
If you ignore all the ridiculous and unbelievable stuff then you can enjoy it ig, it was torture for me personally.
Lmao ML and FL fall in love so instantly and easily and literally have sex the same week they met and outside in the wild.
At first I thought it was part of ML's character as Tiger King that he keeps making those weird facial expressions and head movements like a psychopath but realized he does that in all his roles!
What's up with that ending? The tribe were performing a ritual to make Tiger King/Sama regain his strength bc he was dying then Sama decides to have sex with FL at that same exact time (while the tribe is performing the ritual for him). That was so weird and made me uncomfortable. Felt like the leader of the clan knew what Sama was doing with FL at that time since the clan's leader was literally communicating to the Tiger King's spirit.
Why did they decide to kill off that side character at the end? he was literally my fav character and there was no reason at all to do that. no one even mentioned his death or mourning even tho he was crucial to the plot. Yet they brought Sama back to life!!
Overal 7. Struggled so much through ep 11, kept watching and pausing ep 11 for 3 days!
Tono literally has the same exact character/personality in this drama and in Love in Twilight, starts out acting like he hate the woman he just met then ends up falling in love and be like "till death do us apart" after sleeping together in the first week they meet lmao. The supernatural part about him is also very similar.
I put Love in Twilight on hold to check out this one and see if him in a different role but I feel like I'm watching Love in Twilight all over again. Now both are on hold and trying to pick them back up
I know that they made the plot very simple so they manage the short episodes, but Japanese BLs always make short dramas with mini episodes without missing any details.
The way Jae Woo approaches Ji Hoon makes him come off as very stalkarish and creepy, if it was irl he'd already be in jail. Both his younger and older versions act very close to JinWoo when the just met. Like who'd let a random kid sleep in their dorm when its the first time they met? Anyone who does that irl would go to jail even if they had good intentions.
Jae Woo cannot use his phone when he goes back in time because touch phones were not available back then, what about his money source? His ID? How did he get a dorm so easily? Wouldn't they check his ID? and if they check his ID, wouldn't his age of birth out him as 10 year old? If he cannot use his 2022 android in 2007, then he shouldn't be able to use his ID, credit cards, or even money because older money print may be used in the present, but money from the "future" can't be used since it can be interpreted as fake because it hasn't yet been printed in 2007.
There are so many things that feel off about it, like they stay in the dorms or around the dorms, what about university?
Still gonna try to enjoy it but I don't expect much from it
Wanted to wait until it finishes airing but gonna start it anyways, I've been so into Japanese BL dramas now, maybe because I've started reading manga so I got used to the story dynamic. But even if they never kiss in a japanese BL drama, its always so cute and wholesome
I watched this right after Love Between Fairy and Devil, if you like this then you'll definetly like that
Yup its very cute and romantic! Besides main couple, there's 2 official supporting couples (also with lots of kiss/skinship scenes), and 3+ other hopeless romantics lol
Finally finished it after dropping it for months. Gonna be honest with how I feel about it, don't care if yall come at me. I don't see the chemistry between White/Sean yall talking about, at least not compared to plenty other couples I've seen in other dramas. Till the end they didn't show us why Tawi is the bad guy, the ones who kidnapped/targeted them weren't even directly sent by Tawi and the police have to do with most things than anything.
Raising social and lgbtq justice and all was nice to see, but beside that its all over the place and cringed my way through the ending. Now I can finally close my book with this drama.
I think there's some real kisses, can't recall, it was forgettable. But they kissed like a goldfish a lot
also I love how we got it already ranking in the top airing shows on MDL when it hasn't even start yet hahaha
