Yeah there are some actors I can't help but recall the name of their character in dramas first so I relate haha. I watched Gu Family Book yearsss ago and don't even remember what it was about anymore but I remember the ending and that it was fun xD This gives me hope, I'll give Woman of Dignity another try later when I'm running on things to watch (which happens too often lmao) Looking forward to interacting with you again, whether in the comments or the feed, you're so relatable! (:

Oh I didn't know this name was from that drama even though I only finished it this week xD I usually don't pay attention to character names or forget soon after its over, haha my bad. Zombie detective was really good and so funny, so sad its over.
I tried watching "Woman of Dignity" before but got scared off because of so many character introductions in just the first episode, but I may give it a try because I trust your suggestions haha. For now I think I'll try "Mistress." Thank you!
I'll add you in case you change your username, you'll be my first MDL friend haha
I'm enjoying this, its pretty funny. I love Ah Ra's acting in this one, she's hilarious. This reminds me of those 80s-90s slice of life anime, especially because of Ra Ra's outfits, her outfits are not skin tight fitting but more childlike, and the ribbons she wears, just like a character from those 80s anime (you may not notice it at first glance since its performed by actual people, not anime characters) but look again and you'll feel like its a remake of some 80s anime lol which I like because I love old anime.
This drama is cute, but a tears allergy? That's one of the stupidest allergies they could come up with. Korea and China keep coming up with the weirdest allergies and phobias lmao. Tears are a mucus discharge which leave the body not only when crying but also in morning eye boogies, nose boogies, phlegm through mouth, ears through ear wax, and in other places too but I don't wanna freak anyone out rn, so if she really has a tears allergy then she'd faint whenever she has a mucus discharge a few times a day. And if I know that all my life I faint whenever I cry, then I would learn to surpass my tears and not cry over every little thing, tears aren't the only way to express sadness.
Anyways I'll pretend a tears allergy is normal and keep watching (I'll try to not get annoyed by the girls needing constant help and protection from the guys and getting called "weak" like they're children)

Oh hahah! Was it you? Then I think you also mentioned "The World of The Married." First I binge watched all aired episodes of "My dangerous Wife," and couldn't keep waiting for more episodes, so I binge watched "The World of The Married" in 2 days, now I'm back to waiting for more episodes of "My Dangerous Wife." Both were addicting and exciting, thank you! Please recommend more if you want (even tho I'm watching many airing dramas which can be seen in my recently watched on my profile, but always looking for more to watch while waiting).
This drama is so good yet its rated so low yet its better than most airing dramas that have a high rating. That's why you can't rely on the ratings alone to find a good drama, trust your instincts, not the rating!
I would have disagreed with you before episode 5 and 6 came out but now I strongly agree with you about the actors…
Thanks. Yeah I was pretty disappointed tbh but gonna continue it anyways because I'm partly bored and partly because I'm trying not to drop anymore dramas. Hopefully better dramas come out soon.
not everyone will have similar tastes/sense of humor but to each their own.this was one of the few dramas I've…
Yeah you're right, I watched some of those high budget/amazing cinematography etc dramas but this hits different, their acting feels more natural even tho the plot isn't realistic. I like how there's so many of those comedy gigs (not sure how to call it), especially Song Rok, Wang Wey, and Sun Young, they're so hilarious lmao. I think channels like tvn focus more on making the dramas look beautifully surreal and aesthetic when it comes to either the actors, their controlled expressions or the cinematography. But KBS seems to be more free, guess because the audience is of all ages and they want everyone to have fun watching it.
I agree with you, I felt like I was click baited to watch it because I like fantasy and super natural elements…
Well that's true in a way, i wouldn't wanna see a human woman having romance with an actual Goblin who isn't in human form xD But all these characters had some kind of restrictions that set them apart from humans, like the Alien from "My Love from a Star" would faint if he kisses a human and share their salivia. In Goblin, he had a sword in his chest and would die if his human lover takes it out, also I remember he would feel pain because of a bracelet, and I think there were some food restrictions. I watched those dramas along time ago so I don't remember clearly but I know they were different in humans because they had some limitations that are only available to humans, for example being allowed to be in love with another human.

Thanks I didn't know about these, I'm gonna try them. I've been looking for some more dramas to start (even tho i'm literally watching 5 airing dramas rn)
Yeah that'd be cool if they do that in the later episodes, I think something like that happened in Goblin.
I dont know why you wanted a passionate kiss when she barely knows him yet and the kiss was out of nowhere. It…
She still closed her eyes as if she's going for it and there was not a sign she was gonna push him away, also she was showing signs she liked him too, that's why I expected it to be a romantic kiss. I mean.. I can forgive this if when they're a couple later and they actually have a proper kiss.
Well this drama is kinda better in handling that issue. I had the same problem before and complained about the…
I know what you mean but they did it too much here, like she falls into his arms 6 times a minute (not thatt much obviously but it keeps constantly happening non stop). He can save her all he wants but she needs his protection literally every minute in the drama lol, I wouldn't wanna be her tbh
TBH episode 6 was not good. I loved this drama from episode 1-4 but this episode was below my expectations. The…
I agree with you, I felt like I was click baited to watch it because I like fantasy and super natural elements but it was really below my expectations in this drama especially since they barely ever show them in their fox form and they feel more human their anything as if its a regular non-fantasy drama. I'm still gonna continue it tho bc I'm bored outta my mind and can't find interesting dramas to watch lately.

I get what you mean but I wasn't talking about the female lead herself feeling vulnerable or acting like she can't take care of herself, but the male leads acts this way, he acts as if she's a child who can't even walk without him giving her his assistance, I noticed this even with the female lead's friend and her love interest. It happens between every couple where the male leads are portrayed as stronger, smarter and superior, and the women as dumb and weak. Or maybe because I don't watch Chinese dramas much, but even when this female lead had a strong role inArsenal Military Academy where she was as good as any other man, but the two male leads still acted like she can't survive without them, but it was over done here imo.
Wth why do Chinese men in dramas always act like women can't do shit on their own, not even tie their own shoes? They treat them like they're so child-like and incompetent. I keep wanting to watch it because I like the chemistry and I can't deny its sweet but so many times the women in this drama keep needing help with the stupidest things, why not just carry them in your pocket all the time so they don't get hurt because they're so clumsy and might trip if they walk on their own?? ....
the guy kissed her out of no where and she was taken a back.. she aint gonna make out with him the moment his…
I would have been understanding if you didn't agree with few of the points I made, but seeing as to how you tried proving everything I said wrong I can see that you're biased. But that's fine, do you.
Predictable, cringy and cliché. I can't connect with the characters. It's boring. FL and ML scenes were not watchable,…
No you aren't the only one who feels this way. I may vomit my entire body cells by the time I finish watching it. Anyone who doesn't think its cliche, cringe and predictable is obviously too young and haven't watched much dramas as us
At first I really liked it and thought it was promising but now I'm starting to think its way too overrated with all the flaws it has.
The chemistry between the leads is non existent (even tho the chemistry between Yoo Ri and Shin Joo is there and they look cute together.
The acting of the two main leads makes them look too fake and artificial, they focus on looking perfect and pretty by controlling their facial features instead of looking natural, believable and touching like you see in other dramas, so I never take them seriously or feel any of their pain or happiness, as if I'm watching a disney movie for kids.
And what's up with that kiss?? Two old mature adults just touch each other's mouths and stay there like dead fish, this is meant for disney channel isn't it? You expect me to be like "wow they kissed! so pretty!" It's supposed to be "hot", not "pretty".
I noticed the acting isn't realistic in some newbie actors that are "flower boy" or "idol" where their role is to look perfect like an angel and keep their facial expressions controlled like the lead male in "Extra ordinary you," but these two actors in this drama are neither young nor new so why are they reversing the level of their acting instead of be better and more realistic so I as the audience can empathize with what's going on?
And when she just took his ice cream when he literally didn't even get the chance to eat yet and started eating it herself as if its the most natural thing without giving it back or looking at him then says "why are you looking at me?" I'd expect him to say "because you took my icecream?!" but instead he says "I realize how sweet life is." WTF?? who would do that?
It's too cringe and cliche, not to mention foxes can eat all human food with no restrictions with the excuse they're modern? This is just a typical cliche drama and they just used the theme of 9 tailed foxes because its popular to attract attention, I have yet to see their tails. So disappointing. It's so weird seeing adults acting dumb and young.
Even the acting of the zombie male lead in "The Zombie Detective" is more human and realistic than the leads here.
Also I dislike so much how Korea keeps overusing making the male lead as an older guy to a little girl then fall in love with her when she's older. Especially in this drama, it may be because his acting is bad but the way he looks at the little girl version of the female lead and the older version of her is the same, and the way he treats the little girl version and older version is the same. Either he views women as children or he views children as women, either way gross.
This gives me hope, I'll give Woman of Dignity another try later when I'm running on things to watch (which happens too often lmao)
