I'm not excited about the trailer. The show looks low budget compared to season 1. But I've waited 2 years for…
I think people look back at S1 through rose tinted glasses. I've rewatched it last week and it's just a fun low-to-mid budget show with messy editing. Most characters annoyed me, more than the first time I've watched it, except surprisingly - Boston 😂 That's why I'm not thrilled about their potential cameos this season
So excited for this! JossGawin look gorgeous in those racing fits and TNPPW also look like snacks. I'm a sucker for time travel plots, trying to fix your past, then messing things up even more. So much potential for fun shenanigans with 3 couples
I don't think it's veneers, his teeth look same to me as in DBK and in old pics, I could be wrong tho, I'm no…
I get you, believe me 😂😂 You've seen Be my favorite? There is a fight scene between Gawin's and Krist's character early on, and it was so intense, well acted and realistic, I paused the episode and went out for a walk before continuing. It was also kinda hot, to be honest 🙈

❤️ The gifs are probably from the second half because Tong slowly evolves from a goofy scared guy in early episodes into someone more grounded, mature and even melancholic later on, his expressions change drastically too. I also wasn't feeling the chemistry right away, but gradually went from ok I'm feeling something to hoooly fuckk I'm obsessed and I want what they have 😂
don't get mad @ me this is my opinionwas willing to get over my disdain for joss for a second and pirate this.…
I don't think it's veneers, his teeth look same to me as in DBK and in old pics, I could be wrong tho, I'm no teeth expert. I personally love them-his pronounced fangs especially. Gives a little bit of wild touch to his face. Gawin's high expressiveness is one of my favorite things about the show, I'll try to explain-Normally, when there's a mature looking actor in bl, he'll be serious and stone faced 99% of time. It bores me to death. Meanwhile Gawin/Tong doesn't shy away from going full throttle silly goofy without fear of ruining his handsomeness. There's a dozen expressions he pulled off that I haven't seen other bl actors do even in similar roles, and it gives me life! Idk, I become mesmerized and giddy every time Tong's on screen, I want to reach through the screen and become his bestie or lover or whatever he wants 🤣 That's all, I just wanted to share a take about this from my perspective. It's so interesting how two perceptions of the same thing can be on polar opposite sides sometimes
I agree about postures but on the not so bright side I find it too relatable 😞
I feel incredible nostalgia about this series. I failed to get hooked on any other newer bl to this extent. Maybe I should make a longer pause until I start missing bls again
I mean it's obvious from the trailer this is a low budget production, so set you expectations accordingly, unless…
Gelboys was amazing tho to be honest I don't think its budget was GMM level low. Camera - sure, but everything else? It clearly had a more professional (thus expensive) team, from editors, script writers, sound design, graphics, etc, most worked on movies too as far as I know
My point was, even tho I see the flaws, from continuity errors, sloppy editing, to mics grinding on shirts making noises that shouldn't be there, you name it, I can still enjoy such show if it succeeds at conquering my heart. I'm a romantic person, I'm not ashamed to admit this. If I sense great chemistry and intimacy and if the story avoids all the tropes I hate, I'll fall in love. I also have a soft spot for campy, flashy, over the top villains. MGB is like that and it's the reason I'd rather rewatch it again and again than watch many of these new, more expensive bls
Have you ever loved a show with all your heart even though you're completely aware of its flaws?
And why is the novel writer problematic?
edit - Apparently the novel writer plagiarized something (???) How did the company not know this before filming the trailer?

Facts! 😭 I keep telling myself I'll start doing exercises tomorrow... tomorrow...tomorrow... tomorrow... rip

If you prefer DMD over GMM that's ok, I won't judge. Watch whatever makes you happy
