It’s not as engaging as I wanted it to be. The patient scenario has also soured the drama for me. I still have it playing in the background and hopefully see what happens next. Also, it’s against the code of ethics to hit on patients and their family members. 😂 so yeah, all my warning bells are on high alert.
Mr Lin is very annoying and rude. I have zero tolerance to rude patients, and this just rubs me the wrong way. You don’t want to get treated, then sign the papers after I give the my spill of what can happen if you decide not to get treated.
Actually, these guys are good actors or have potential to be. I will be checking out this drama for THEM, not…
No, I wasn’t condescending nor trying to be one. I was trying to have a casual conversation, without a tone of malice. I did say I don’t know the actors, but I never belittled their talent or what they can bring to the table. I brought up the meaning of hard carry because people seem to be so focused on that term.
Also, questioning someone’s ability to act is not belittling someone’s talent which is what I happen to see in most of the comments of the people you responded with. It’s normal to ask who they are and what they can offer, and this is actually creating buzz for them. If you know them and what they can do, then good. If you’re here to support them, even better.

I specifically mentioned popularity and traffic. Nobody is putting down these actors’ acting abilities. I don’t know them, never heard of their dramas but I never shitted on their acting talents regardless. Everyone of the comments are talking about the same thing too, over and over - Yang Zi being the huge traffic actress. That’s the hard carrying we’re all talking about. Nobody is saying that they won’t be bringing in traffic, for sure they will. But the bulk of the interest will always be the burden of the bigger star. And I quote urban dictionary for the meaning of hard carry: a role that a player is assigned with the expectation to carry the team to victory. So yes, technically Yang Zi is hard carry. And nobody is saying that there won’t be teamwork.

I don’t think the op is putting down the actors. But they’re all not on the same popularity plane. This id an s+ class drama, so the main investment is yang zi. It’s already expected that she will hard carry this traffic wise because she is the bigger star. And saying that one is more popular than the other is not shitting on the artists.
Saw this drama by accident on netflix. Was initially planning of just playing this as background noise but I am hooked. It’s so freaking funny. Can’t wait for the next episodes! And I finished the webtoon too lol
More than half of this drama is about Lele’s relationship to which I’m not here for. I don’t understand why this secondary character was given so much spotlight for her dramatic lovelife.
I can’t edit my first reply. She’s so fucking annoying and I don’t think her worry is enough to justify her asshole behaviour. FL’s mom has anger and control issues. Her voice grates and obviously favours the younger kid.

Such a waste of time.
