I think it totally depends upon the couple....because if you think in this way then every soldiers firefighters are selfish( which very wrong to think)......they serving thier countries and obviously marriage will come after country to them.....lets talk in case of Yu and his wife .....here I think their marriage failed because Yu was supposed to be civil engineer and his wife never imagined Yu being in the career of firefighter and she was never ready for this huge change in their relationship Thats why their relationship failed ( and I am not blaming his wife...she is right according to her stance).....
and now lets talk about Nan chu's relationship .....she is in relationship with Lin knowing that what she will face in the future being with him and they will never break up in the future ....she has accepted him being as a firefighter and that's the same case almost for every soldiers firefighters....their wives are willing to take care of children when they are on the frontline serving their countries
