So, what about the part where the detective walks into the room looking sad and then it cutting to her lying on the floor in the same white dress that she wore as she was crossing the street? Then it fades into white and then you see a totally bare apartment. The apartment no longer has pictures on the wall, there is no tv, no table, nothing. Did you stop watching after she was seen lying on the floor?
