Lots of room for improvement but it's a start. We don't get a lot of BL in a historical setting so I wouldn't call this a flop. The chemistry fell a tad short because let's face it 10 minutes is not enough with a few other characters included. The second lead was an unnecessary addition - time should have been devoted to the leads instead.
It got predictable for me at some point but that did not stop me from waiting for new episodes to be loaded. I guess it has something to do with the main leads' acting, their chemistry and how good the supporting characters are.
If you love the original, as I do because it's the first chinese drama I ever watched, I think you could watch…
Thank you. It's hard to picture the leads as any other actors as well as their squad. The original squad is so solid that I love them as much as I enjoy the romance. The humor was on point too. I might try a few episodes and see if I want to finish it. Thanks!
Sad how this movie got a very low rating considering it is a very good one, just not everyone's cup of tea especially the second half. The entire movie centered on the Bai Sri and how it was made with painstaking details but eventually discarded after it has served its purpose. The same goes with the human body thus the gory details presented near the end.
The love scene between the two leads is too realistic and raw - one of the best in all of the BL shows I have watched.
They tried to squeeze in too many characters in 1 very short movie. Everyone feels like a supporting role. I did not feel attached to any of the characters. It would have been nice if they focused on Khao and his struggle. To me it felt like he barely struggled at all.
That ending was better than I imagined. I was scared one of them will die in the end lol still it does not change the fact that I was heartbroken after. I am a sucker for happy ending. I prefer their alternate ending in a parallel universe.
Just started this show and done with episode 1. Definitely looking forward to Neo and Chaoyue's pairing. Love how they're bickering and not even faking to be the nice to each other during the first meeting haha I really like the fact that they got paired because they have no choice lol I'm a big fan of We Got Married so this is a cool concept too
