Again, since you are so bothered go write your own post. I actually do not care about your opinion on a comment that I made 6 years ago. The show wasn’t out and there wasn’t even a trailer at the time of commenting. I have also seen the show at this point and again I have never made any defense of the subject matter. I haven’t given my opinion about the film outside of rating films we haven’t seen. I have no interest in trying to understand the reasoning the screenwriter or the original manga chose this subject matter. I do have an interest in films being rated sight unseen. As you have seen this film my initial comment doesn’t apply to you.

A synopsis/trailer is meant to give an overview and grab the attention of the audience that alone is not enough information to give a rating. Without seeing the show we have no idea what the overall theme and lesson of the media is. It great to know that this film is still creating conversation which I think was its intended purpose. If the listed themes don’t sit right with you, then don’t watch. For the record, no one is defending those themes. If you have such strong opinions make your own thread.

I'm really on the fence here about this show. Its kinda dragging but has rare moments of interest. thinking about dropping it but I feel like it might pick up.

I love the actors but this is BEYOND boring. I'm trying to find a reason to keep watching but this is absolutely the worst. I understand that it is slow paced but this is just hard to watch.

I want to scream at the end of every episode (in the best way). The characters are cute and the development is amazing. Can't wait for next week.

I agree that Jin has behavior that is harmful, but I never argued it wasn't. I think it's the viewers job to make that judgment rather than have the idea force fed to them.
All of the characters have major flaws but that is what is going to drive the plot. Some characters are meant to be unlikeable. I don't think a writer would kill off a fan favorite before the halfway point.
