And if you reading my comment, please consider that he is not the type of ML who shows his feelings easily like hugging, suddenly kissing, saying something nice but at the end he hugged her and actually said something nice. He was (maybe) bullied at school and was always lonely so he did not know about love and its meaning. Last episode was a turning point for him because he confessed that he did not want FL and Hase to date.
I think it has happy ending. We are used to see more romantic scenes at the end of dramas or movies, because mostly at the end, male or female lead realizes that they are in love with their partner, but for this drama I found the end satisfying. I think he likes her. Since junior high school. We see student Hangyo as a someone anti-social and always looks at book or something in his desk, but in the episode she asked him about what he thought at that time, he said ''you looked happy'' something like that. For me, it means that he just paid attention to her. But he was shy and had personal problems. What he did (the first sex scene) was quite irritating for me, but after that episode I realized that he did not know what he did. I think when he grew up, he accepted his fault. He said he did not get in in two years so it means that he did not sex anyone after graduating school (I am saying this because ML and FL are at the same age and in the first episode the FL said that she could'n get a job in two years after graduating.) I assume that he started to write novels after graduating and in the scene while FL reads his books, camera focused on covers so I can say that the novels were about FL. But since she came to house, he did not continue on his work, because he still has feelings for her, but he realized that the girl doesn't (when he said ''you changed'' in one of the first scenes). I think he uses his sexual desire to approach her (i found it so lame first), but at the same (even he maybe have had sex with another woman in university) he couldn't help but have a sexual desire for her because he liked her and she was the one who got along with him well. After seeing her with another man, he reacted like animals. He bites her to show Hase. But he wanted she to react him because he had no experience about showing love, he just acts according to what he read in books. At the last episode, we saw him smiling brightly because he could tell her he likes her.
Btw, some scenes were like dubbed and some are not. There were voice changes.
Thank you for explaining. After watching one more drama, I finally found out that this is the reason. But even though I know that, it is still weird for me. :D
Okay, I just finished watching and wanted to say something. Before this drama, I watched My Youth which is another Chinese drama. I am not so familiar with Chinese dramas, but both of dramas were similar. I know My Youth revealed 2 years after this drama, but I liked it more than this. I guess this drama has something off. Maybe I didn't like the ML's acting, I didn't feel the emotional sides of the scenes with him, but FL was great. Also SML did a great job. Anyway, I gave 8/10 because I liked story and other couple. I had a good time watching it.
It was such a sweet drama. Yes, there were some unrelated scenes and mistakes, but I liked the development. Also the final message was so good. I am 21 and it made me believe in myself more. The youth will not come again, but the memories will be in our minds, because we are just in our golden times.
Wow When the devil calls your name cast comin' together. Nice
Actually, they were together in ''Life on Mars'' series before. Park Sung Woon is an actor who plays on many movies and dramas in a year so I think Life on Mars was also not their first drama together.
