I really feel disappointed that it seems NQ ends up with sang2 and not with Shan2, Sang2 should have been a "little…
Sang Sang is LITERALLY the main plot driver of this entire series. She's THE ULTIMATE character. Her existence alone determines the outcome of latter arcs. His arc with Shan Shan was over-exaggerated in the drama (there was no romance in the book, no confession, no nothing) while it was solely done to push Ning Que to realize his feelings in the book. We really get the sense of everything falling into place once he comes to terms with his feelings and Sang Sang.
Saw bits of him in MG and it's a camp as hell drama and his acting is camp as hell.
Maduni, there are younger great actors out there. Being young and MG being his first role shouldn't excuse the acting. While younger actors like Liu Haoran and Zhang Yijie are trying their best, I can't help but feel disdain towards Hedi and the likes because they only have the pretty face with no acting experience or education.
I wouldn't say Feiyu is a great actor but I can see his effort and I always value people who try their best. I do hope Hedi would at least take acting classes because Ever Night's story is not campus drama romance that doesn't require much emotions like his previous work. His experience with MG is definitely not enough for him to act out the Ning Que we've seen in the novel. I hope the director will help guide him as she did with Feiyu in the first season.
Is it the one which comes in both male version and female version? It's my fave one too (after the Killing Song…
It's the ending song! Most of the soundtracks are on Spotify (including the killing song!), you just have to search with the hanzi instead of the english title. I just put 将夜 and voila!
Oh my god thank you so much for the info! I'm so glad the drama worked out to be very entertaining. This was such a risky move but he did really well. I hope he can get a better agency later ;A;
Ok, it's sad that Arthur Chen won't be part of "EverNight" season two. I agree about that.But why is everyone…
I guess for me it's more about "it's such a shame to not be able to see the drama until the end with the same chemistry" and a bit of worry for the replacement actor.
As someone have said before, it's going to be hard to wow the fans since we're already comfortable with CFY's Ning Que. I'm not sure which way it will go but the new actor needs to have both a similar aura, and better acting skills to appease the series' fans. I'm just hoping this change won't bring the series down and we'll still be able to see it up until season 3 because I genuinely fell in love with the novel too.
Let's just hope the casting director will be able to find someone with amazing acting skills!
Also, kudos to CFY. I'm so glad he's putting his education first.
In that case, I support him 100%. Education is always more important, especially when he's still young like this. I'm proud of him for not extending his school leave and did the right thing to do.

Well at least I'm less upset about it now.
