Done watched. This film is about Lei Zhen Zi, a character from Investiture of the Gods. The plot is good and nice, but it's too rushed to finish the story and many loopholes with unanswered situation. The back story for their clans also pretty short. I don't understand for certain part. The character development pretty rushed between Lei Zhen Zi, Xin Huan & Xing Er.... CGI also look pretty decent for me. This would be better in drama version for plot, story arches & characters development. Liu Cheng Lin is a promising actor doing his character as Lei Zhen Zi. He landed as main character for his first debut as an actor. Overall I give 7.5/10.

I still can't let go Eum Moon Suk's character Jang Ryong from The Fiery Priest & Dal Shik from Backstreet Rookie. Here he's with a new hairstyle. I almost LOL at him whenever his scene appear because of his past works(characters).

Did Zhang Ruo Yun lose some weight? He look thin in 1st episode and I think Guo Qilin put some weight to look chubby in this drama, like he said 'he is ordinary guy who married with pretty lady'. I googling him to see his decent pics. He looks better in some pics I found. For me he is the combo of cute & handsome. And yes he did somewhat looks like Zhang Ruo Yun. Even the why he act too in this drama. No wonder they become siblings in JoL. After I watch 8 episodes and see his cleverness and the way he help his wife.... Man.... I wish I can get a husband like Ning Yi too.

Yes. It is from Japanese song 花 (Hana/Flower) by Orang Range. The chinese song also called 花 (Hua/Flower) by Jefferson Qian Zhenghao (钱正昊). Same tittle. They give credit to original creator/singer band Orange Range. So we can say it's a remake.

OMG this drama keeps remind me of that famous hit Korean drama My Girl. Missing cousin, check. Pretending to be a female cousin, check. Grandma instead of grandpa, check. Got 2 brother cousins, check. A stoic, poker face, long face and deadpan cousin with freespirit cousin who always grounded but got runaway from it also check. A noisy aunt, check. Especially on episode 10. Went out with freespirit cousin, and end up with stoic/long face cousin until she got drunk. Puck flower for her stoic cousin and fell from it. Scold a wooden pole when she though that is him. Too many scenes are on point that pretty obvious have similarities with My Girl. I wonder how the plot are going later. Can't wait for the next episode.

this is so good and an okay drama for me, with ff some certain boring scene and part. and this is my first time watching drama with main cp are cruel to each other which sometime i felt they don't deserve to each other. there is plot twist toward the end of drama, the case they handle quite bizarre, i wish they show us how she do autopsies & dissecting the bodies. at the end, you know who is that didn't die actually. if there is 2nd season i will definitely watch it.

Even the author of books Xu Lei (Kennedy Xu) always trying to hide whenever ZYL looking for him for discussion, when he didn't find the author, ZYL look for the director, and the director also hiding from him. Whenever ZYL start rehearsal with Chen Minghao (Pangzi) the director know he need to hide from ZYL. Also the scene where he burn the matchstick, he insert that scene in that drama, there is no such scene in the books. I don't remember which drama he did stunt himself, but it left a scar on his waist too, and the shooting took a break for a month for him to recuperate.

I read somewhere, Zhu Yilong are very detailed to his character. The scar on his neck, Wu Xie got during Sand Sea/Tomb of the Sea. So Zhu Yilong spent 20 minutes to half an hour to put this scar before shooting. If you realized he never wore any high-necked colar cloth in this drama just to show the scar. So that's mean Wu Xie in this drama supposed to be older than Wu Xie in Sand Sea.

LOL I'm expecting the confession scene where Lu Jin chasing after Gu ShengNan at the market until she locked in the room like in the film but, hey, no. They change it into where here Lu Jin chase her until to the hotel up to when she run from that humiliating dinner at japanese restaurant. Gosh. What a hilarious time!? They try attempt to kiss, but always failed. Goodness.
