So watched till episode 3. Very engaging episode, loved the comedy. Is his ex a bad guy here. Also seems like his friend is sus. He behaves too good, seems like it's just a front.
Okay people who are hesitant to start it because of first episode just somehow pass the first episode. It really good from episode 2. Krystal is doing really good job here. I have watched only few of her dramas and only liked her in Players but here she is really good.
I like that actor, he was good in Falling into your smile but 40 episodes are too muc, I mean 40 episodes will include many misunderstanding, break ups, confessing very late and unnecessary jealousy and also may be love triangle
Okay, so many people are asking how is the drama and about the romance. So first, the drama is good so far, pacing, action, comedy and emotional scenes are perfect. Don't know why people are blabbering about the direction and the MC's younger self, the direction is good and the MC looks convincible for a young student (with all that make up and editing), as for romance there won't be any probably (there was none in the webtoon) but there may be a little hint of it. As someone who has read the webtoon (not completed), i really liked the drama, the actors are very convincing and are true to their webtoon characters. So don't worry about all these unnecessary negative comments, give it a try and decide for yourself.
Episode 2 was really good. It had everything, really liked KHW-LMS and KHW-KHM interactions.bThey have changed a little bit of scenes from the original but it is still good. Pace is also fine. Really looking forward to next episodes.
For those who are going to rant here that it's a realistic ending and all please don't read this comment. The ending is actually bad, no closure, many unanswered questions, seemed like forced separation just to make a so called "realistic ending". It could easily have been a really good bittersweet ending but it didn't. All these things aside, the actors did a really great job, ost was awesome and the direction was good. JW and SW arc could have been explored more and YJ could have got a better dept to his story in 3rd quarter. Seems like the whole dad thing was just a bait to keep the mystery and ratings up. I thought I won't be that much disappointed by such ending but i did because the way it was executed.
I have yet to rate this drama, confused between 9.5 and 10. I mean have few disappointments with this drama, 1-YJ arc was not that good as compared to HD or YR, 2-Even being the main character YJ got way less screentime than HD, 3-YR character after her and HD's reconciliation became flat except for 2 episodes, 4- Use of male characters, JW and YJ are mostly there to support the person they love, mostly JW, 5- SW, even though she got one episode to shine, it was only one episode, 6- Waited till episode 15 to see if JW will get any solid acr. I definitely will be disappointed if they didn't end up together but it won't affect my ratings if it is done well and not just some random bullshit. Also it would be really cruel of the writer if she will keep YJ single for all those years still stuck on HD and where as HD moved on, getting married, having kid, living happy. I don't want such ending where one person is still stuck in the past.
