Seen both already!! Eternal Love is actually my favorite CDrama.

Absolutely LOVED this drama. The plot & the characters are so well-written & the actors are so damn talented, especially Deng Lun & Luo Yun Xi. I want to watch all their dramas & movie! This drama is definitely not for the faint of heart... so prepare yourself, but I think it was worth it. 10/10

I feel like if you can get through Ashes of Love, you can definitely get through this... because Ashes of Love was way heavier on the angst and heartache

Based on what I remembered Dong Hua was considered the 1st great king who united everyone & he was supposed to be king but he was indifferent to becoming it and gave the position up. So, Dong Hua is more powerful than him.

I enjoyed the drama from the beginning. So, I would say depends on what you are looking for in this drama? Also, it depends on how well you can handle angst bc I thought Eternal Love was giving me angst, but it is nothing compared to this drama.

I say you should watch Eternal Love first and then Ashes of Love. I actually hate love triangles, especially when they done horribly but I think AoL does it well.

I thought it would be like that too, but idk if she even knows how to end it. I am just hoping this drama is good.

One of my dream pairings lived up to the hype I created for them. This drama was so beautifully done.

LOVEEEEE this drama!! It is probably one of the only dramas where I was focused more on the plot (for revenge) than the romance and I am a big romance person.

Lee Minho, Kim Bum & that popping OST were the main reasons I made it through this drama. The FL was super lacking... loved Makino better.

This was my first Thai drama & people were not lying when they said Thai dramas are SUPER DRAMATIC. Sometimes I feel like I am watching an American soap opera.

For the most part, I really liked this drama, especially Gypso. She was the star of this drama & her and Push were too adorable together.

One of my favorite Chinese dramas. It put me onto Bai Lu & Xu Kai who are now on my list of favorite actors. I actually watched it 3 times already in this same year. Haha.

The chemistry between them is one of the main reasons I loved this drama so much... and THOSE ACTUAL KISS SCENES... WHEW!

Also, I actually became attached to the secondary characters, unlike other wuxia/historical CDramas bc they became like family to the leads. The one flaw I have with this is that towards the ending there was some weird editing and the ending seemed semi-rush... that why I can only rate it 9.5/10

I am at episode 35 and I just have to say that I am super in love with Xufeng & the way he loves Jinmi. Literally makes me swoon... it reminds me how I felt about Ye Hua & Bai Qian. And, my heart feels for Runyu... I want him to find some form of happiness that is not Jinmi.

LOVE HIM! He is my favorite Asian actor!!

I have noticed LMH is a hit or miss with people, but happens to be one of my favs & one the few actors where I re-watch his dramas the most.

Chinese: Eternal Love. This is actually the drama that got me into historicals and I am loving the genre.
Korean: I have not got into these types of historicals yet, but I do watch dramas that have half historical elements like Goblin & the Legend of the Blue Sea, which were pretty amazing.

Song Joong Ki left the biggest impression on me in The Werewolf Boy. He was the reason I got into KMovies & KDramas. If he is in it, I will watch it!! Also, Jo In Sung, Lee Min Ho, Lee Joon Gi, Park Hae Jin, Park Seo Joon, Yang Yang & Xu Kai are all golden in their roles.
