It is comedic in the first 6-7 episodes maybe then becomes a cry & angst fest.
You should definitely prepare for it because it hits you hard! I think you should continue to watch it though because the acting and chemistry between all the cast members are exceptional!
My obsession with Zhang Wanyi is getting out of hand between watching this drama along with Lost You Forever! He is so perfect in his morally gray roles!
After this drama, I cannot wait to get my hands on every one of Zhang Wanyi's & Tan Jianci's dramas. I love those two so much, especially Wanyi!!! I already know about & follow the dramas of my faves Yang Zi & Deng Wei.... love them!

CX is my favorite. I love his cunning mind & the actor is bringing his A-game! I want him to be happy... just not with the FL. How TJ feels about XY is how I feel about CX.... IDGAF. Although I was not a fan of him at all when he was introduced, XL found his way into my heart. I should have expected it... I mean he is a charming white-haired fox. If I had to choose who she should be with at this time, it should be TJ. He is so sweet & loyal. I love his character so much.
It has been about 2 months since I have actively tried to watch a K-Dramas . Lovely Runner ruined me for a bit😅 But this show is perfect… it has no right being this good… the chemistry & comedy is on point!
