This is SO GOOD, I give it a 10 out of 10, can't stop watching once I started the first episode. Just finished episode 14, now I have to wait till Thursday for another 2 episodes TT^TT I should have waited till it finished airing. T^T
I personally like the version from 2019 more. The FL's doesn't daydream, keeps her thoughts to herself, is always cool and calm, doesn't blabber at all and only speaks when necessary, likes to keep to herself, doesn't show her emotions and is mature by far. The other female characters too, the ex (Ye Zhan Yan), the FL's 'friend' (Ding Shui Jing), Chen Mo Han, Xu Ri Qing are crazy in this version compared to the version in 2019. Going to try finish it as some parts of the drama are different to the original.
The 2nd female lead is not bright at all to run away from home and tell her parents she doesn't want support from them then has such thick skin and keeps trying to use puppy dog eyes to ask for benefits from the 2nd male lead, it's cringy.
Facepalm...Li Yan (FL's sister) always gets captured by the bad guys. She never learns her lesson and always needs others to save her. Even her brothers gf Wu Chu Chu is more useful than Li Yan, and Wu Chu Chu doesn't know how to fight.
On episode 2 and the acting so far is cringy and not very convincing. Struggling to carry on and thinking of dropping it. I wonder how it got such a high rating, I would expect it to be rated under a 6.0 at the most.

I think I prefer this version to the original C-Drama, I personally also find the main actors better looking. XD
Tang Meng is dumb for believing the maids words when the maid says what they are doing is to help Jiang Xuen Yu.
