WARNING: IF YOU DON'T LIKE SAD OR OPEN ENDING DRAMAS THIS DRAMA IS NOT FOR YOU. IT IS A DARK DRAMA.

Lots of good things about TSHLYE (and why you should give it a try!):

1. It’s not sugary sweet as most dramas, but it’s really intriguing and dark.
2. The storyline is amazing, it’s original and extremely suspenseful.
3. There are lots of plot twists that keep the story interesting.
4. The romance is sweet, the chemistry between the main leads is amazing.
5. ACTING! Everyone in this drama is so talented, the micro-expressions, the emotions, everything is well-done and beautifully portrayed.
6. A lot of instrumental OST’s that add to the general mood of the drama, they are great. (Creepy, romantic, melancholic…)
7. There’s some amazing cinematography! Some shots looked amazing and even interesting.
8. I have to warn you, it’s not a happy-go-lucky show, but if you’re down for something more serious and suspenseful, this might be the show for you!

Seo In Guk’s charisma in The Smile Has Left Your Eyes is simply amazing. I’ve seen SIG acting as an adorkable, happy boy, as someone who seems depressed, as a lot of personas actually, but THIS. This is completely next level. Even though I, as a viewer, know that he is probably up to no good AND he can easily give you chills with his gaze alone, there is something irresistible about his character. So, lots of respect for SIG for pulling that off! I really love Jung So Min’s acting in The Smile Has Left Your Eyes. Jin Kang seems to be a happy-go-lucky person (when she is introduced) but it also feels like she has a darker side as well. Her interactions with the brothers are amazing and she has good chemistry with all the actors. I’m intrigued by her character and the way JSM portrays Jin Kang, and I’m glad to see how her character evolved in the episodes.
