To be honest, I was really annoyed at the beginning of this drama, where the ML was getting 'stepped on and being used' by a lot of characters in the drama just because he is an innocent guy. But however I wanted to finish it so I went through with it and you know what, it was actually a good drama. The fault was in me as I went in with different expectations by reading the plot summary. It took me a while to realize the drama was talking about some serious issues such as homosexuality, gender equality and other serious issues but in a very nonchalant manner. What I loved about this drama was even though the underlying theme was about these issues, it managed to be really really funny.
Although there is a small similarity in plot, I wouldn't say there was any plagiarism involved. It baffles me that even to this day people believe that great plots make great movies. It is not about the underlying theme or plot but how it is executed on the big screen is what makes a movie or tv series great. I believe in almost 100 years of cinema, you can actually find every movie to be plagiarized from some event as it is what inspires people. Plagiarism should be limited to how something is presented and not what is presented.
Just a small suggestion, if you can add a voice over for these videos, it will be more engaging. I feel the videos are a bit bland with just cheesy music but thats just my opinion. Keep up the good work.
I have watched 3 of the Hong sisters drama out of which two I considered to be among the best. Although I am not a huge fan of The Master's Sun, I found it was cute. But Hotel Del Luna and My Girlfriend is a Gumiho are among my all time favorites. Considering that My Girlfriend is a Gumiho is my first drama, I am really thankful for them to dragging me into this wonderful world of dramas.
A very good drama which talks about issues prevailing within Korea. Most of us who are not from Korea imagine it to be a dreamland when it is like every other country with it's own issues which this drama portrays really well. The romance is slow paced and very different to other dramas which was really refreshing.
This was so good I was compelled to finish this in a day. The comedy was on point. Gave very strong Chief Kim and Player vibes but absolutely loved it. I hope they will be making another season.
OCN knows how to make good thrillers. Some of the best in the world probably, but goes unnoticed due to the language barriers. The plot sounds really good. Thanks for the article which makes wanna watch it too.
This has all the ingredients to become a laugh riot. An excellent story, a stellar cast, and a really good screenwriter. I had slight Strong Woman feels from the cast and plot, turns out same screewriters. Can't wait for this.
This drama is a masterpiece given how they have handled the subject of death and cancer. Would have given it 10 if not for the annoying AF OST. Loved the casting. And the person who put this in the comedy genre needs to be punished.
It's hurts but I love the pain this drama makes you feel. I feel the ending of this drama was absolutely perfect. It was a bit annoying at times but otherwise it was almost perfect.
i cant with infidelity :(gotta remove it from my list
Agreed. Just can't agree with someone cheating on a loved one, feels so wrong. No matter what the circumstances are, break it off if you are not sure or not in love anymore.
Loved the article, but I think you missed one. Ji Sung in Secret was one of his best work. The best thing about his character is from his point of view you understand what he does and why he does it although it is morally wrong and you can't help feel torn between bad and good.
To be honest, I really didn't want to watch this as thought it was a sad, heartbreaking drama since it's about life in prison. But boy was I wrong? This is definitely going down as one of my all time favorites. Absolutely hilarious yet touching at times, this is almost perfect. And it was really nice to watch something with a unique storyline rather than the usual cliched dramas.
