I don't know why people keep saying the actress who plays Su Da Ji is not pretty?! I think she is pretty. I like…
I don't think that their implying the actress playing Da Ji isn't pretty. Rather shes the wrong type of beauty. Da Ji is suppose to be a beauty capable of toppling kingdoms (those are big shoes to fill). While Claudia Wang is beautiful she isn't capable of pulling of that vixen look.
If you check her out in "Across the Ocean to See You" her modern look is a lot more flattering. It also happens to showcase her acting much better then in this drama.
Meh, they'll release another version of this story in no time. Regardless, every iteration has been mediocre at best. There's just way too much going on, an endless list of characters, and drawn out battles.
Honestly every time they release a remake I just look forward to see who they choose to play Da Ji.
The best Da Ji to date is fan bing bing. I think Peng Xiamen Ran would physically do the role justice. I also haven’t heard anything about her having plastic surgery. If she did have an operation, kudos to her surgeon, she’s gorgeous.
As of now Peng Xiamen Ran (lead actress in Goodbye my princess) would be my go to. Although she lacks “experience” her acting skills are top tier and as are her looks.
One of my all time favorite Chinese dramas, right after Divorce Lawyers. The chemistry and back and forth between the MLs makes this a real treat to watch.
lol... i skipped right to the ending xD I didn't miss a thing. such a slow pace drama though. it was good but…
Thats the point lol. For those who say its all about the journey their lying to themselves. Its the destination we're after. I personally enjoyed this drama very much, a sizzling romance is great and all, but a slow burn will do just as well.
The ending was beautiful and for once left me fully satisfied.
I just watched final episode... and I'm ????????! This drama, you love it or hate it. There's not a half-way.…
Same here, I really enjoyed how all of the actors portrayed their roles so vividly. It felt like I could relate to all of the cast. Yun Jin was a favorite of mine, her actress played the role so convincingly (so such so that alot of the viewer base dislikes her lol)
Oh boy this was a drama full of annoying and immature characters! I was pissed more than 98 percent of the time…
Generally people either love or hate this drama. Personally I found this series very touching . I also really enjoyed the Female leads acting, she played her character very well. I found that people who didn't like this drama do so based on the lack of passion. But I found this to be very relatable , not all love needs to be about equivalent exchange.
Beautiful, I really enjoyed how everyone was able to realize their love. This was a very realistic love story. 10/10 It was a slow burn but it was all worth it. What a hidden gem.
Ffs. Another Cdrama where the FL starts by being strong, confident and assertive, but her brain turns into goo…
I felt that the only redeeming character was the single mother. I was hoping that she and male lead would get together at the end because they literally deserve each other. But alas plot was heavy and male lead got stuck in this sick relationship of interdependence with female lead.
Two mentally sick people cant magically make each other whole again.
Watching this was like watching a drug addict relapse time and time again. Disappointed in male lead failing to find his own happiness. Its ridiculous that female lead got to make her cake and eat it too, she was entirely irresponsible in every single relationship throughout the show and was rewarded for her self delusions.
I feel bad for the single mother the most, she was the most self aware and selfless character in the whole series. Its a shame plot forced the two lead's to be together.
Their relationship is so twisted and messed up, it feels like male lead uses female lead as his emotional crutch and she uses him to escape commitment /responsibility.
