Shenli's mother and Shenli's current master were disciples of the LuMing and like sisters to each other.

she is wise and smart and brave. She will stand up to adversity and protect the people. She does want to be in an arranged marriage either. You may need to see more episodes to get the storyline better but to each their own opinion
