Things I liked about episode 9 : 1. All the teary moments between Phupha and Tian. Omg I cried when tian started crying in all of his crying scenes.
2. The cliff scene. Omg that made me cry so hard. * I also loved how much Tian had expressed his feelings for Phupha.
Things I didn’t like.
1. I didn’t like how Phupha knew about Tians dad and didn’t tell Tian about this earlier. But I guess some of you will say if he told Tian earlier tian would’ve left earlier and he wouldn’t have made an impact which I totally agree on but I think he should’ve gave him some heads up sooner before Tians dad came.
2. Tians dad trying to convince Phupha to tel Tian to come home because his mom misses him. Ok I really didn’t like how Tians dad this episode. I was really really angry at the fact that he knew Tian was with Phupha and being a teacher there and all the accidents and near death experiences he suffer he never came except this episode where he was shot. Like if I was Tians dad if I knew where Tian lived I would at least visited Tian earlier and sooner rather than later. Also why couldn’t Tians mom just come and visit Tian. Yes, She’s worried about Tians condition but Tian is fine and there is Dr. Nam there. I hate how Tians dad is literally telling Tian to leave a life where he made new friends and family to live back to his life where he felt he wasn’t proud of himself. Omg that scene where he told his dad that was so sad:( I feel like Tians dad and mom does care but they are going about it the wrong way. If tian wants to stay let him stay! He literally built a second family there if tians mom wants to see Tian then she should come and visit. I’m sorry but Tians parents are kinda selfish. The fact that they thought tian was having “fun” was pissing me off when he almost had several near death experiences. Also didn’t like How Phupha drove Tian away just so Tian can go home. Like I get Phupha is trying to help Tian see him family again but like Tian also has a family with the kids and him so..
3. I also was very saddened to see how worthless Tian had felt of himself. It was so sad to see Tian have the burden that he carries and feels. Every time I see him talking about that it made me want to go over and tell him hey you are worth it like every other person out there. I love how Phupha told him to live for himself and not for others. I loved Phupha when he said that. That made me forgave him. Still I wonder when Tians dad told Phupha to take care of him, I wish they showed us his reaction and how he felt the first time Tians dad told him to take care of Tian.
Final comments of episode 9: It was another heartbreaking episode. I feel like I’m learning a lot every episode. I learned in this episode to live life to the fullest but also live life for yourself. This sorta applies to the saying if you have a wish dream goal do it, don’t let others stop you. That is what I got from this episode. Also, like Aye said, without Torfun there’s no Tian x Phupha. I feel like things happen for a reason and yes it was sad that Torfun died and I wished they didn’t do that but as I had thought in the first episode but it also led to many good things such as Tian building a second family with the villagers the kids and also kindling a sweet relationship with Phupha. I questioned whether Phupha really had feelings for Tian. However as I seen in previous episodes of Phupha waiting for tian and just being there for tian with his needs, I realized it wasn’t out of duty but really the fondness he has for Tian.
I’m so sad that this beautiful series has to end! But like Phupha mention all things must end ? I’m going to need more tissues for the last episode ???
