I've been following him since he appeared in OreSuka back in 2019, he was and still is such a small baby. He needs to be protected! He has just become the son of the whole fandom 💕
This is one of the craziest and funniest movies I’ve ever seen, Japanese humor in all its splendor! At first I was a little bit skeptical, but I ended up loving it. In fact, I loved it so much that now is one of my favs. The cast is awesome and everyone is so handsome, it was such a delight seeing so many ikemens together! The satire and comedy are on point, not to mention that the production level is amazing and you can see all the effort they put on this film. Definitely a rewatch movie!
Also, I love how gay everyone actually is xd Teiichi and Komei were so in love, like, they just couldn't keep their hands off each other and their interactions were so sweet, Komei was always worrying for his Teiichi :3 Otaka and Morizono had something going on as well, while Himuro and Koma were going through a lot of marital fights hehe
I have mixed feelings about this movie, it was super realistic and mature in many ways, not to mention it portrayed problems of real life and all the characters feel so real, so much that you can actually sympathize with them. But if I’m being honest here, Imagase was a creepy stalker and Otomo was a scum cheater. Yeah it sucks, but someone had to said it. They are two flawed people who just can't decide what they want and only hurt themselves and others in the process (Okamura, girl, you deserved better!), it made me mad at some point lol. Also the open ending felt very unsatisfactory, after two hours I was expecting a better closure for their relationship, but I guess we can leave it to our imagination right…? The possibilities are endless, and if what they feel is really love, then they are going to jump back into each other’s arms in no time, so no need to worry (also, they end up together in the manga).
About the acting, I can't really complain since it was perfect. Okura-san and Narita-san gave us an excellent portrayal of their characters and had good chemistry together. I would love to see them acting together again in the future, but maybe in a project less dark and more fluffy than this movie XD
A heartwarming and sweet movie, it made me laugh and cry while enyoing the beautiful landscapes of Japan's countryside. I definitely could see the chemistry between Yuki and Ryo, the sparkles were there, ready to make fireworks! They made such a cute couple and I would love to see them together again in another project or sequel. I loved the writing and the acting, although it lacked some character development… with just a little bit more of background history this film could have been even more perfect! 💕💕
