Zhong Kun Yi didn't kill his king, he was poisoned by the three families of Tianshu (however, in season two it's said that Meng Zhan was actually killed by Ah-Li and Yu Qing). And yes, Zhi Ming is a ray of sunshine in this series :)

Is here any BL couple/story line?
It's technically a BL drama, but because of China's laws against homosexuality on TV and movies the romance is very light, almost hidden, but is still there. Plus all the "romantic" scenes were cut off of the series :( However, you can perfectly tell that these men have feelings for each other, so give it a try, it's a very good show :)
