i haven't read the novel but to me the pairing look realistic.i come from a rural village and 20 yrs ago huge age gap marriages were quite common.ml is playing a role of where his thinking capabilities are of a kid so that will help in overcoming the age gap barrier anyone watching might feel plus the fact the people with that kind of disablity either don't marry or marry quite late often with young girls of poor households.
