Best new episodes I have seen in a long time. I was so sad after watching Hometown Cha Cha Cha which I thought lacked chemistry but now I am happy again because I found all the chemistry I needed here.
People are like why are you so emotional about this show. It's simple, it's because it started off so well and then just died a slow death! This is what I am mourning:
1. Do San becoming a great character who was driven by the possibility of building a strong business not because a woman told him his hands are big. 2. A funny and loveable bromance between Ji Pyeong and Do San where they realised that they could achieve a lot as mentor and mentee. 3. More of In Jae and just her bad ass CEO behaviour. 4. Mostly, a realistic ending for Ji Pyeong because a guy like that wouldn't still be single after three years. It's a lie.
So many things happened in ep 6, I almost forgot that Yi Seo stopped Soo Ah from kissing Sae roy. Lol. I imagined if that happened to me in real life. Hilarious.
This is basically drama where the evil protagonist (2nd lead) gets her way. Oh Soo Ah is a cliche first lead and…
I was thinking the same thing! I was worried that they would just make her like a conniving 2nd lead after the bathroom scene so I was so happy when she told Sae Roy that Soo Ah didn't report the pub. I loved her, 'I will win any way because I'm good enough' attitude. She doesn't need to stoop low and be manipulative.
Why did they do that to PSJ's hair? I mean he's still great because honestly, he's still making it work which is just shows that he has amazing visuals.
Is it just me or is 90% of this show based on eavesdropping??? Why are people sharing vital/ career damaging information in the hallway on volume normal??
It's not just the chemistry between Seri and Jung Hyuk that's great. Everyone in the cast seems to have been chosen well. The chemistry between Jung Hyuk and his squad of soldiers! Seri and the squad of soldiers! Seri and the women! Everyone has engaging interactions.
Although cliche, I love how Hyun Bin always acts like a reluctant love interest. He is not a bad guy who will become good for the woman (so over that), nor is he a love sick puppy who does anything and everything for the woman (done with those dramas). He is just a normal guy who is curious and open to falling in love and letting the story lead.
Lastly, I think Seri is going through a lot and dealing the best way she can. This is a rich CEO who is used to having everything she could ever want (materialistically) and she's suddenly stuck in North Korea. I am surprised that she isn't more dramatic about it. She seems to be trying to get through this by being herself and I think she's hilarious actually. I am even sure that she and Jung Hyuk are often aware of how silly and over the top she's being but they both know its an unbelievable situation that they are in. I really liked the scene when they were paragliding and she apologised for being ridiculous and said thank you. He responded by saying 'I know' which I thought showed that underneath all the silliness, they are both going through a lot and they know it.
Hyun Bin/ Jung Hyuk is bae. I would give him my heart organ too.

The end.
