As someone who has been battling with clinical depression since I was 14 and I'm now 27, it doesn't just fade away. It keeps at you and tries to pull you back into it every time that things get a little too much and you start to lose focus of life in front of you.

People who go through depression are expected by people still these days to just "suck it up and get over it" - which is what some people have told me I should in recent years to do, since the death of my sister in 2015, who I found in her bedroom passed away in her sleep due to heart failure (cardiomyopathy), tried to resuscitate her and then had to go tell my mother while phoning my dad that their daughter is dead. You wouldn't expect a person who has gone through that to just "suck it up".

It hurts more that people think we - the suffers of depression - can just drop it and it suddenly just goes. It is like a ball and chain which attaches to you and it only frees you at a certain point in two ways.
1. You either get the key which frees you to live life a better way and things are getting better for that moment.
Or 2. You decide enough is enough and commit suicide.

Honestly, this is such tragic news and it just goes to prove yet again that the entertainment industry and being famous isn't always what people imagine it to be. Actresses, singers, entertainers - whoever in this industry - at the end of the day are the same as everyone else. They're humans and have emotions, feelings and problems like we all do. But when you add on the fact that for them, they are a face that people expect to just smile... it gets pressure added to them.

I truly wish that this beautiful lady rests in peace and I feel deeply upset for her family because I can relate to the pain depression gives and how uneasy it is to escape it.

I've read so many good things about this show that have definitely put it on my plan to watch list. I'm slightly excited for it, because it will be my first J-Drama, even though I lived in Japan for 6 months (had no time for TV then though)
