More than other dramas, they give a realistic look at what a world of immortal cultivators would look like. Things like that a sure too happen in such a world. I was shocked to find out that xia xian zi is the SFL's father, I really want to see their confrontation.

Viewers need to understand that though some actors are more talented and experienced, they all perform according to the director's vision. A good director can bring a magnificent performance out of a less experienced actor and bad director a lackluster performance from a talented actor.

I'm not sure how healthy it is, considering the camera adds ten pounds, he must be skeletal. The dieting must be crazy.

It was explained early that the deliverance sword was made Simu's aunt who was a member of the starhaven sect. The starhaven sect duty is to keep an eye on misbehaving spirits ithe mortal world. Her aunt also made a prophecy that the bearer of the sword would be able to share senses with Simu. It was probably made to find Simu's destined one.

Just watched the first episode and it was going great, until the police interview which was the dumbest police interaction I have ever seen, if police solved there cases like this nothing would ever be solved. I am sure the actress felt stupid saying those lines.

It makes sense that he would take that action given his past. How did he win his father's approval? By going through hell and finding his way back. He did the same thing to win the heart of the army when he went into the enemy camp alone. He is doing the same thing with Simu by going into the prison.

I have not decided I disliked it. So far it isn't living up to it's hype for me but I am giving it a chance. Everyone has preferences, but preferences can and do change. We remain stunted and limited if we don't question why we might have a certain preference or why others might enjoy another.

It doesn't feel cheap to me at all, but I started watching dramas in early 2000s, so I am maybe easier to please, even dramas from 2019 look low budget compared to the ones today.

I've been watching dramas for two decades. I love plots with scheming and double crossing. I usually follow the plot well, this is the first time I've been so confused. Luo Wei actions in particular were so silly. Off the top of my head I could think of least three options she could have used to take over the business. I feel like it was just done so there could be a twist, but motive wise it really falls apart.

Just started watching this today. I've reached episode four. I'm going to keep watching becuase its pretty to look at. Yan An is lovely eye candy, the fox sisters are exquisite and fun whenever they are on screen, and Joseph Zheng is Reba's male twin. The show itself is disappointing. The characters make nonsensical decisions and there are too many of them. There were so many complaints that GTG had too many characters, but everyone there served a function and was at least memorable. So far in these four episodes so many people have died that idgaf about and have no idea who they are. Why did double flower guy just show up out of nowhere and then leave? The plot so far has been all over the place. I can't believe people think this is better than Love Beyond the Grave.

I found him so bland and boring in WDBTD. He had one expression through the whole drama. It felt like that series did well in spite of him rather than because of him. Here he is lots more fun and interesting.

I think they have some of the best chemistry i've seen in c-drama
